we like the room clean every day, can pick up the breakfast day before cause we were leaving early
the internet quality was really slow. Was almost impossible to download internet text...
The wi-fi did not work at all It was not clean and certainly not worth 150.00 a night more like 50-75 a night given the shotty room Would never ever return there and will have to te-think staying in travelodge at all
The patio's and the park like setting. Close to shopping and Santa's Village.
We stayed here in 2013 with our kids and grandkikds. It was the ideal place as there was a pool and a play area for the kids. However this year the wooden play set was still in disrepair and I can't help but wonder why some one cannot take a few nails and a hammer and fix the problem areas, of which some were still broken from 2013. The pool was not available, although we were told someone had cut the liner the night before. If this is true then it is not the fault of the owner. They were working on it. The worst part was the fact that they were trying to fill the pool all night from the tap that was on the wall of our room, so we had to listen to running water all night. When we pointed this out, in a nice way..there was not even a "sorry for you inconvenience". Our Son and his family had water in the entrance way and the mat was soaked. It is a nice place but there are issues that need to be looked after. We had the same room as last year and they had not changed a thing. The bathroom needs some TLC. The rates were expensive for what we got, which was a bed for the night.
very run down, very poor continental breakfast and very expensive for a cheap motel.
My children loved the park and wooded area, did not get to use the pool but looked like tons of fun. Close to Santa's village and other ammenities
Lack of respect from other visitors, we have small children; they make noise at times, no reason to bang on walls.
Breakfast, location, swimmingpool was not clean.
An excellent choice of breakfast, we really enjoyed it..
What's not to like?
The queen size beds in the rooms be booked were very comfy. Having satellite tv was a great way to occupy spare time.
The pool and the playground were great for the kids.
Our room was not cleaned very well. Same dead bug on the wall for 3 days and we found a lighter on the floor. A serious hazard for our 4 year old. The bathroom floor was in disrepair. The grout was in very bad shape around the tub.
The pool and play area for the kids was really nice. Felt like a park like setting.
I didn't care for the dozen or so contractors staying a few room away on both sides of the hotel. Smoking drinking and gawking at my wife till well after dark. For a family hotel it made it feel more like bar or something kind of hang out. Could dine with out them acting this way. It made everyone uncomfortable outside our room.
A shame the pool was not available during the summer time
Great location in a beautiful town
The room was tiny and run down...the bathroom door was broken, the taps were loose. The manager was rude - horrible customer service..will not be returning. They verbally advertised a heated pool..it was closed...in june!!!
We were in town for a funeral and everything was excellent - thank you
Alittle too expensive for what you get.
close to where we were visiting, the comfortable bed, very very clean. Suitable breakfast. The staff was professional but friendly. We plan on staying there the next time we visit. The place was very quite. Overall a pleasant visit.
pool was not up and running. However, was still a little cold in Muskoka. Our biggest complaint is the water pressure. This is not their fault. must be that all of Muskoka has low water pressure. We have experienced this elsewhere.
The man at the front desk was so friendly. we arrived at the hotel on an empty tank of gas. Thankfullly the hotel had a can of gas they put in our car. We were going to refill the can but they told us not to worry about it....Great coffee in the morning and nice variety offered for breakfast...I would stay there again...
The hotel was very quiet and in a great location. I will come back next time I come to Bracebridge.
Everything except the wifi
A big sign in front of the Travelodge and their online ads say "free wifi" and high speed internet. But it didn't work.
location, is close HWY. nice town/service/staffs clean inside/outside breakfast
price is high a little
toilet did not flush had to switch rooms after unloading everything and move it to another room
It was cozy, clean and updated. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The scenery outside was beautiful.
I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities.
that it was pet friendly
It was a convenient location. The travel lodge was "tired". We booked a queen sized bed and got two doubles. Thevreceptionist was unsure of herself when we checked in, explaining she was new. Whilst our room/bedding was clean the tiling on the floor and walls needing replacing as the grout looked dirty. By contrast, value for money wise, the Holiday Inn Express in North Bay was cheaper and gave terrific value for money, which included a great breakfast buffet with hot options, compared to the continental breakfast offered at Travel Lodge. Would not go back to the Travel Lodge in Bracebridge by choice.
The location and scenery around hotel
the entrance doors to each suite have a slap shot pain job on the door and the door frame
