The location is excellent. The hotel is walking distance from downtown Montreal and Old Montreal. If you are going to the Just for Laughs festival you can get to it easily on foot. The hotel is also fairly close to the central Via Rail station. You can walk to the station, if you are in shape for walking. The hotel is also about a five minute walk from the subway station. The room is quite small, even the one for two people. There are no comfortable chairs to sit in, aside the one at the dressing table which doesn't really qualify. The toilet was running in my room all day and night. I did also notice a couple of very small spiders in my room. The breakfast area can get quite crowded in the morning depenidng on what time you go. You may have to wait a couple of minutes for a table to be cleared off. The hot water dispenser for tea repeatedly overflowed, so I nearly burnt myself twice.

Excellent location for a reasonable price Room small and very basic, but everything what is needed is there. No duvets - only blankets, but that is common in Americas.

I did like quite low price and location. I did not like that room was extremely small for 3 people. Most important, in website the hotel quarantees availability of high- speed wifi internet in the room, but in reality there was no such thing, internet was not available most of the time and if it was then it was very slow. Beds were very narrow, sheets and blankets were very old. In addition, despite the fact that the room was ment for 3 people, hair shampoo, conditioner etc. was only for one person.

Nothing. Firstly, when I went booked my reservations online, it specifically said that there would be a Wi-Fi internet connection available throughout the hotel. However, when I arrived in my room, the internet connection was consistently not working. When I told the hotel clerk about it, he simply said I had to come downstairs and see if it worked in the lobby. I needed the internet to conduct some work business and the unavailability on the internet connection was disappointing and caused unnecessary stress. Secondly, the telephone in my room was broken, and I couldn't even contact the lobby or housekeeping for any reason. Had there been an emergency situation, I would have been unable to contact anyone since my cellphone doesn't work in Quebec (I'm from Ontario). Thirdly, the sheets in my room were dirty. Therefore, when I was leaving my room for the day (December 17), I asked the hotel clerk in the lobby to send someone to clean my room and replace the sheets. Upon my return to the room, I realized that the housekeeper simply left the sheets and towels in my room without cleaning the room and without removing the dirty sheets and towels. Simply put, I have been to many hotels, inexpensive and expensive ones, and I have never experienced this type of service before. I will never stay at a Travelodge establishment in the future. My trip to Montreal was ruined by the poor service at this hotel.

The price was good. Room was tiny (Less than 100 square feet for 4 people). Top bunks were braced to wall and smaller than a single bed.

The people at the desk were friendly, and it was clean. The room was dark and dismal, the bed uncomfortable, and breakfast was terrible. And when I booked online, I wasn't able to apply caa.

It was conveniently located for the Convention Centre. The staff were not welcoming and had little or limited information available about the surrounding area and amenities and seemed irritated when asked. The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner which was on the hotel description and one of the reasons I chose it.

The staff were polite and the accommodations were clean and relatively comfortable. The rooms could have been bigger, especially the 3 bed rooms, which could alternatively be priced lower as its a high price for the discomfort of sleeping on a fold down bunk. Also, the mattress of that particular bed (the fold down bunk) is terrible.

Unbeatable location for the price. I like the 24-hour reception desk. No frills but clean: coffee maker, hair dryer, basic breakfast. 3 of us shared a room (bunk bed and single bed) for 100 dollars a night! I was upset when I asked for a 5am wake-up call at the front desk, it never came through and I missed my flight! They paid for my change of ticket fee, which I was glad for.

Good location is good nearby old Montreal and steps away from chinatown and the metro station. The rooms for 3 people are very small. The room is only to sleep can't spend time in them cause the're way to small, 3 adults won't fit properly in the rooms and the 3rd bed is a bunk bed that is screwed to the wall, looks like submarine rooms instead of a hotel

Good value on a limited budget. The front desk people were very helpful. The gift shop people were very nice and even gave me a discount. While the room was Spartan, it was clean and functional. It was in a good location for the activities I had in mind.

The receptionist advised me to park my car in the Vinchi garage, $15 max. I parked around 14.00 and took my car next morning at 6.00. The cost was $33.00 and nobody in the garage to speak to! I think it's a rip- off. I complained to the duty manager but he advised me that the hotel is not responsible! It's wrong, as you recommended this parking, it's your responsibility. Actually I want you to send me a check of $18. This spoiled my opinion of you hotel... Awaiting of your comments.
