Ever watch the show Arrested Development? It was as though the Bluth family had come to Kamloops to build a hotel. No plumbing for the central sink so the sink just sat on the floor! The floor was uneven and the walls crooked which meant the bathroom door couldn't close properly. The drawers weren't attached. Edging wasn't affixed to the wall in places. No stopper on the bathroom wall for the door, so every time someone let the door swing freely, it smashed into the wall. It was clean and fine for a night during a road trip, but this room was a miserable attempt for a new hotel. We booked with Travelodge because of the brand name. Unfortunately, this location didn't meet what we have come to know as Travelodge standards.

Good view Breakfast facilities terrible, lukewarm coffee and water for tea, very limited choice of breakfast and hard to find the "meeting room" for breakfast as not signposted!

Location They gave away my booking... That if I will not come as per booking.com will charge me with the amount. We arrived without room as per our reservation and keeps blaming booking.com for repeated scenario. No solution were provided and had uncomfortable stay. Booking.com was unable to assist.

The location (the church next door was the purpose of our trip ) and also the maids were great!. The keys were very anoying!. Basically e ery time we needed to used them we have to turn to the office and get them activated again. And "no" we didn't have them near cellphones or electronics! Also the breakfast room was poorly looked after. We had to look for knives ourselves and look for someone to refill the coffe pot as it was only 8 am and no coffe left and few people looking for it.

The staff were poorly trained. They were unable to check us in as they were unfamiliar with booking.com bookings. They didn't know what a crib was.
