Travelodge Oshawa    

Close to golf, shopping and a variety of good restaurants. Beds were comfortable and facilities clean. Would definitely stay again. Staff were friendly and helpful.

elevator was broken had asked for ground floor room on booking room on line... never got it... bit of walking with luggage!

I liked the breakfast, there was plenty of hot & cold items to choose from.

The comforter on our beds had an odor (stale paint smell) and I felt the overall design of the hotel was poor. Only one elevator at the main entrance to serve the entire hotel and no entrance on the ground level in the middle of the hotel. If you had to park behind the hotel, you had to lug your luggage up stairs to your room or drag it all the way to the front of the building.

We booked a king business suite at Travelodge Oshawa last minute on booking.com because of a death in the family. Upon arrival, our room was ready and checking in was quick, friendly yet professional. The room was spotless, all the electronics worked great and a bonus was the endless hot water supply! And the very comfortable king bed, complete with a down alternative comforter. The continental breakfast was great and in my opinion better than most higher end hotels. There was a choices of scrambled eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, cereals, yogourt and fresh coffee and much more.

Nothing! The accommodations, service and price was a pleasurable experience under trying circumstances

Eggs were tasteless. Internet ad said it was close to the Go station. Really, it was a $10 taxi ride away.

it is convienent to 401 and to hwy 2, not to mention it is very close and convienient to shopping and all the imeneties that we needed. We travel to oshawa once a month or every other month because my spouse loves roller skating and coachlite roller gardens is very close to the travelodge.

I liked the TV/internet facilities, the indoor pool & hottub, the breakfast facilities and the proximity to the Oshawa airport and the Oshawa Centre.

This was an unplanned stay for me due to the record snow storm of Feb 2013. Snow removal in the parking lot could have been better.

I liked the bathroom! There was both a shower and tub. It was well-lit. There was plenty of hot water. Sometimes the bathroom is inconvenient for a lady to get ready (shave, etc). This bathroom was ideal. I did not incur any problems, and it just suited my needs perfectly. There was an easy to find channel guide for the tv, and free movie channels. Breakfast was included, but there was also a fridge and coffee in the room. Everything was just great! The thing that impressed me the most when I entered the hotel was the very pleasant scent. I am scents- tive (sensitive to scents and perfumes). This was such a pleasant scent - and welcoming. Very refreshing for someone who is chemically challenged! OVERALL - GREAT, WONDERFUL!

There was only one ashtray for a smoking room with two guests. It was difficult to ascertain who was a staff person at the breakfast area, because the staff did not wear anything to signify the fact that he/she was an employee rather than a guest. That is hardly anything at all, but that is really the only thing to "complain" about at this hotel.

Descent machines in the fitness room...all machines were working:) pool was nice and clean. Comfortable bed although duvets would have been prefered. Also was glad that our reqest for a room on the first floor was filled...all in all it was good.

The bedspreads and the smell off smoke in the hallways was strong. Also our room towels smelled of smoke.

Far walk to room on 3rd floor if you wanted to use elevator.

1) v. helpful front desk staff 2) good breakfast - should have whole grain bread for toasting however.

1) rubberized blanket !!! - I woke up sweating a number of times during the night 2) noise of trucks on 401 3) smell of strong cleaning product in the room 4) alarm set by previous occupant went off at 6:30am waking me up after a poor sleep
