Our stay in Simcoe was pleasurable, the weather was not your fault. Rooms were comfortable.
The television was old and had lines across the top and because it rained a lot we stayed in to watch TV
friendly staff, room are clean, free WiFi
Friendly staff, clean and quiet. Everything I needed was close by. The pool area was under construction but still useable. Adequate continental breakfast and the restaurant served a full breakfast if you wanted something a bit more.
In my opinion, it was a bit pricey.
I liked everything. It was a perfect stay.
Rooms smelt like smoke. Purchasing a can of fabreeze was in order. Clean the place up!
The concern of the staff for our comfort;
The drapes covering the heater under the window
the staff was very friendly and the room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. the continental breakfast was very nice.
The room was dated and had a musty smell. TV was old and the picture fuzzy. The door to the hallway didn't shut properly. The furniture was old and not in very good condition. I found the price a little high considering I paid less at a hilton the week before.
It was quiet and clean. Every outside service was nearby.
we found no faults.
Clean rooms Excellent fitness facility
Wish the continental breakfast was available until 10:00 AM on weekends
The staff were very friendly. The gentleman explained all the facilities etc & called my room to make sure everything was ok. My bed was comfortable. There was no noise. It was fine for a nights stay.
The hotel has dated decor & whilst my room was very clean there was an empty water bottle behind the toilet & dirt behind the bedside locker. The floor was non smoking but the corridors smelt of smoke but my room did not. It was too expensive for what you got.
The room was good and the breakfast was also
This is an old hotel that has been purchased by Travelodge. Some upgrades have been made but the place still looks and feels like it is old. The view from my window was horrible and they advertise a restaurant in hotel that moved out years ago. Not worth the money charged.
The gym and spa facilities were good to have especially for the cost.
I felt the 'hotel' misrepresentrd itself where I booked online. The pictures were not from the same location. I expected a nice, modern hotel and got a run down motel that was playing up technicalities !! It was fine for a motel, but that is what it is.
the front desk people where very nice coming in and leaving
The location and accommodations were good. Staff was friendly. Directions were very helpful
The sauna & pool facilities were not available...your site did not honour SENIOR Discounts...not phone number provided
Clean, comfortable, friendly
old, some repairs evident
The facility seemed old and run down (though they are in the middle of renovating the lobby), and the breakfast was minimal. We had coffee in a paper cup and went to another hotel for a hot breakfast. Very expensive for what we got.
There is the continental breakfast, pool, hot tub.
Price was far to high $150 + tax, it is more of $100 - 110 facility. Closed restaurant attached makes it look bad and inconvenient. Parking lot is in very poor condition and makes it look run down. Needs some work,
Wet floors in bathroom, dungy dirty room and power went out on us. Asked for a discount, but didnt get one
Bed was comfortable
Overall appearance was a 2 star rating refused any discount due to not using their own web site for booking what was advertised as amenities was not available
Fire pit at the back of the property caused the room to smell like fire smoke.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the timing and selection for breakfast was ok but could have been available until 10.00am like the other places we stayed in. The staff were friendly. Did not get time to use the pool and gym but these looked clean.
We did not like the drone of what we thought was an air conditioning unit in another room- it went on all night! The Travelodge is looking a bit tired and is in need of some updating although it was ok for our 3 night stay as we were out all day and used it as a base.
