Staff was great, Friendly gave us great directions for food & entertainment.
no one at front desk on arriv. bath tubs look ditrty whole room needs up dating gum like substance on bed head board
morning coffee and tidbits prompt service the price
the flooring the linen the washroom poor lighting
Cleanliness Close to our destination
room could use some decorating
Very dirty carpets, no stopper in sink, TV remote did not work properly We were there two nights but they did not bring new towels nor did they make the beds. We would not recommend this motel and we will never stay in this chain again
The front desk person was pleasant. The water pressure in the shower was good. That`s all.
Room smelled musty upon entering. Some of the bathroom bulbs were burned out. Microwave not plugged in and had to be moved onto a chair to be plugged in and wall light was not plugged in. TV remote would not turn on or off the TV. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Though listed as non-smoking rooms, the neighbouring room had smokers. At 2:30am some people were conversing in front of our door loudly enough so that they woke us and we could hear their conversation and this was on a private, common hotel balcony. Not a clean, hospitable place to stay and I wouldn`t stay there again.
We requested earlier time for check in and received a e mail conferring that they could accommodate this on the day they did not uphold this request my guests from out of town (here for my daughters wedding) had to wait until 3:15 to check in !!!!!!!very embarrassing
The location was good and the staff were friendly.
The beds were decent, cleanliness okay.
We paid $135 for the night, definitely not worth it. The appearance of main office, tired looking, no decor. Pool was a mess. Not enough towels. Just the overall appearance of the hotel itself a nd the room was not very nice or welcoming. Our latch was broken on the door.
very comfortable and convienent for our travels
the hotels renovations
Staff were very helpful. Decent pool. Free wifi. Right off the highway.
Lot's of room to park truck with boat..Large rigs no problem parking..Great value and location
The price was reasonable and the front desk staff extremely pleasant. Coffee and tea in the morning was good. The bed was comfortable but old mattress. The sheets were clean and comfortable. Pillows were good and plentiful.
The rooms need a major update. The carpet is very worn and torn in some areas. There are 2 sinks. One had a plunger and no stopper and the other had a stopper and no plunger. Bedspreads are old and need replacing and there is a faint odour in the room. The outside of the motel is very run down.
It was nice having a comfortable chair to watch TV. Also having a Fridge
I did not like not having an electric kettle in my room to make tea.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were not fancy, but clean and comfortable.
It was clean and affordable for a busy weekend.
It was basic in the lobby, and hard to get into off the QEW. It seemed to be under renovation with stuff pilled up in the halls. People in the next room were screaming in the middle of the night. Very scarry! Sheets were so thin I thought it was paper.
Price-Best available at the time...but you get what you pay for! Staff-friendly. Unexpected coffee/tea/juice and pastry for breakfast (although not of any quality). Easy access to wineries, Welland Canal, and Niagara Falls area without all the rinky tink.
Tired Rooms, despite remodel. Frankly, I wouldn't want to see the rooms that have not been remodeled. Curtains off the rod, the hem was simply cut off to length and fraying. Sinks dripped and it seemed as if they were purchased at a garage sale and retro fitted. Poor workmanship all around. The parking lot needs resurfacing and although we could see it, we had trouble figuring out how to enter.
good location; the person who checked us in strongly recommended that we visit nearby Port Dahlousie, which we did and loved; very friendly staff
Smelly rooms Noisy (air con and highway) Poor ventilation Leaking toilet cistern and taps TV controls not working. Many lights did not work. Priced way too high - we paid average of $130 per night. Breakfast a joke.
Location, friendliness was very good.
there were two of us in the room and only one chair to sit on. an armchair would have made our stay a little more comfortable. The top cover on the bed had some very bad stains on it and in my opinion should not be used on the bed
The free long distance phone calls across Canada were very handy since we unexpectedly needed to contact several in Toronto and Ottawa during our stay; clean room; bed was surprisingly comfortable in contrast to very dated and limited room decor; light continental breakfast, not a wide selection but the food and beverages were fresh; courteous and helpful front desk staff; convenient location just off the QEW
Room decor needed some updating; same for carpet. The WiFi internet did not work readily, access was intermittent at time, would bump you off line too frequently.
Dirty, roof caving in, room in need of serious repair. Would never book there again.
Accessability and direct access to room from outside
Very tired looking - definitely in need of major overhaul
Decently clean, was not bothered by highway noise.
Room smelled of smoke (despite us reserving a "non-smoking" room), cigarette burn marks on the counter, soft/saggy mattress.
