I travelled with my adult son, to visit family in Kimberly. The 1 bedroom suite we had was perfect. It had a nice private bedroom and my son slept in the "living room" on the couch. It suited our purpose. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. A bit far from the town centre.

Been here several time over the last 20 years or so and I have alway found it to be a good comfortable, economic and well equiped resort hotel. The hotel is starting to show it;s age and the pillows are to soft and smell of to much sanitizingcleaning agents, but it is still clean and comfortable.

loved the morning sun shining on the balcony! loved the friendly & accomodating service from staff! our dog even got a good reception! loved the quiet in off-season! no airflow through the suite. kitchen lacked "tools" (ie. paring knife, spatula, - had to ask for a pot scrubber.

Location I did not like the bed, it was very hard and uncomfortable. Also i was not aware of a policy of check-in before 11:00 p.m. This is very unusual as we arrived at 12:00 pm. The doors were locked and no instructions about what to do,the only sign said to ring in case of emergency,we were hesitant to ring because this did not seem to constitute an emergency. We pondered what to do and decided to go ahead and ring as Kimberley does not have a large number of hotels. we then waited 45 minutes for a security guard to arrive {after he said he would be there shortly} and then he let us in and gave us our room keys. I don't know that we would try to stay there again.

Excellent room for the price we paid. The lodge was great but it would be nice to have more activities around the lodge or in Kimberley, BC in general. We were staying in September and are somewhat mobility impaired.

The location as it was close to the conference center My room was not very clean. In Montanas it was extremely busy the first night we arrived. The poor waiter/ bartender was run off his feet and the manager came in and stood around and didn't lift a finger to help. Everyone at out table noticed this. The next night was our reception and again he stood around and didn't lift a finger to help staff. Very poor example of leadership.

Reasonably priced for a one bedroom suite. We liked the refrigerator and stove, and seperate room to sleep in. The mattress was too firm.

Friendly staff. Underground parking in winter. Location to lifts. Ski lockers. No internet cables available in rooms. Hot tubs were too hot and one hot tub was not working. No good quality lattes, etc. on site. Poor fitness facilities.

The location to the ski hill couldn't have been better. The suite itself was ample for our party. It was quiet, clean and we would certainly stay there again.

I liked the location. The staff at the restaurant was the best thing about my stay. I was there for 3 nights and they remembered me. I received excellent service there. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness. I stayed 3 nights. The only thing the service did was remake my bed, wash a couple of utensils and put the foot towel back on the tub. It was very clear they did not vacuum or clean the sinks because there was hair on the floor and sink. I also used all the tissues and they did not replace the box. The same goes with the shampoo and conditioner.

We liked the ambiance and it was close to home so we did not have to travel far to get their! If we have a complaint it was with the check-in, we could not check-in at the 1600 time frame as the room was not yet ready and for a one night stay you have to pay 147.00 for a less than 20 hour stay and that is a lttle steep!
