The wifi is poor in signal
The staff were very nice especially the housekeeping staff, could tell they worked very hard!
Our room wasn't up to standards, could tell they are trying to upgrade the other rooms but our room seemed to not be on the list. Toilet was dysfunctional, had to fiddle with it throughout our stay, no bedside lamp, comforter had a stain on it, old tv, all in all just very dingy. Was not impressed for the price we paid.
Building looks ok from outside but is actually quite old which shows if you look closer. Few hairs found in one of the beds. Pool was closed for use.
QUICK WIFI SERVCE
POOL WAS NOT FUNCTIONING
Registration clerk was very welcoming. Pillows were great. Beds comfy. Outside of motel was redone.
No ice bucket in room. No refridg. No coffee maker. Had to pick up coffee grounds in office when we got a coffee maker. Tight parking. NO POOL-- IT WAS FULL OF SKINNY WATER AND GARBAGE. Grounds not kept up.
The location and staff.
The room smelt of mold and mildew. There were holes in the ceiling of the bathroom. It stunk of cigarette smoke even though it is suppose to be smoke free. The window sill were full of dead spiders. Very gross. The pool was not functional and while we were there it was 40 degrees everyday. Looked like it has been abandoned for a while. Everything in the room was old and falling apart. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Booking.ca should be ashamed to promote such a hotel.
Quiet, good for 1 night stay
The room was infested with ants..two days without the bed being made then they made it up once so we had one bed made in four nights stay!!!...we had to chase around to find someone to give us fresh towels each day..they had a chap who could not speak English at the front dest...this motel has gone down hill...
I liked that it was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was quiet at night and during the day the room was warm and it felt like home away from home. We would stay at this place again when we plan another trip to Niagara Falls.
The room was not luxurious, but somewhat what we expected for the price. The room was clean and there were lots of towels provided. The sitting area was nice and the hot tub, which was the main reason we rented that type of room, was nice and very relaxing. The area we were in was very quiet and the rest of the hotel seemed that way as well. Even at all the different times we left the hotel and came back, it was quiet. That was really appreciated by us. It is a really close to walk to the Perkins restaurant, which is one of the best places to go eat at, particularly for anyone with a gluten allergy and the staff is very accommodating.
Where’s the no disturb/please make up the room signs?? How the heck do the people who make up the rooms know if people want their room done up or not and/or don’t want to be disturbed at all?? It was a little disturbing to think, at anytime someone would be knocking on the door to make up the room without notice and be interrupted. The first day the heater worked poorly, it took quite a while to warm up the room. The next day all it did was blow cold air so we had to shut it off since it was making the room colder. The only thing that helped warm up the room was the hot tub. Not having towel racks in the bathroom/shower area was annoying and made it a challenge to try to figure out where to hang the towel while showering, however; not having some sort of means to put the bar of soap in the shower was unacceptable. And it’s no wonder we found a used bar of soap still left in the shower floor from the previous people there. Not impressed! There was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffee, no tea, not sugar packets, no milk and/or cream were provided. When my husband went to ask at the office if they provided the coffee, he was told no. So he asked if they sold coffee and/or tea, the sugar packets and the cream and/or milk. I guess that would have been too easy. We were told we had to go buy all the items elsewhere. Seriously, buy coffee, a container of milk or cream, and what, a bag of sugar for a two night stay?? On top of all that, the coffee machine had no permanent filter, so filters would have to be bought as well or it would have to be coffee already in the filters. It would have been nice if all this was put on their website so we could be prepared for it one way or another. Now that we know all this would we go there again, maybe, but more than likely only if nothing else was available.
The bed was very comfortable.
Tour buses from the States were parked there and they were idling for a very long time which was very noisy and unnecessary. I asked the office staff if Niagara Falls had an idling bylaw but they didn't seem to care to ask the bus drivers to turn off the engine. So this is NOT an eco-friendly hotel. Also there were a lot of drunk people outside making noise at 2:00 - 3:00 am so it was hard to sleep. I thought they should have been told to keep quiet.
The staff were great Heather and Andrea were very helpful and made us feel relaxed and welcome. The hotel was within walking distance to falls and very comfortable. Everything you need is close by.
No friendliness from woman on front desk. Poor standard of electrical work in room.
It was a dirty room with nasty carpet and the bathroom fan was hanging out of ceiling as well as opening curtain and looking out to huge spiders and webs on the window outside and seeing garbage in the yard. Parking was horrible.
