Good location for what I wanted. The hotels in Canada are a step under you can expect in most countries of Europe. This is a clear example. No elevator, poor breakfast, the room smelled weird. Said that It is still a value for money.

Very friendly staff. It was by no means a luxury hotel, but then again the price was very reasonable. Within walking distance of so many good neighborhoods, Chinatown, Vieux Montreal, Le Village, Quartier Latin, Saint-Laurent. Paper thin walls. I could hear a man snoring in the room next door. Bathroom could use a few repairs. No dresser.

Nothing other than location Everything! I do think that a 'Jail Room' is more comfortable than the Queen bed room I got there. I felt like I am in third world country not in Canada. Sorry but everything was wrong. .

The hotel staff were excellent. The location was fantastic, you can walk everywhere from the hotel. There are lots of great resturants closeby. The rooms and breakfast are basic but the price more than makes up for that.

good hotel for those who are at low budget. location is just perfect on a quiet street and within a walking distance to most of attractions. very nice staff. room is extremely warm, it is important for travellers in cold time. plenty of towels, soaps, shampoo. it's a bit shabby, but I didn't expect luxury for these money, so it wasn't disapponting

The location of the Viger Hotel is closed to down town and near station metro, this hotel is very silent , the price is very cheap and suitable for students, the hotel staff are kind and I think is very good. In future trip, I exactly will choose the Hotel Viger.

The staff were nice. 10 mins walk to metro station. Rooms were clean except for some stains on the sheets and blankets. Don't expect a luxury or modern hotel but in general for the money you pay it is a good choice.

Friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast muffins were HUGE.. Very good location; easy walk to many popular parts of town, and close to good subway stops. We had booked a room with 2 double beds and on arrival were given a two room unit for the same price, which was really nice. The upkeep is lacking; light bulbs needed changing, the ceiling fixture was hanging funny, not fastened to ceiling. The built in hairdryer wasn't working but they had one in the room for us to use. Could stand some spiffing up for sure-best for those who don't plan to spend much time in their room.

We arrived at the hotel around midnight the girl who welcomed us was very kind and friendly. All staff was nice with us. The hotel is well located not far from Vieux-Port. It's not possible to open the window in the room.
