Price and cleanliness
very very small room, noise outside window, broken blocking door in bathroom, unkind service, no help from reception desk, internet not working..and many other...
The tiny room, no kitchen facility
Location excellent, staff friendly
Neighborhood roughish(but borders excellent area of Old Montreal).
The breakfast was ok, muffins, milk, juice and croissant. The staff service was nice.
The smell of the room, damped like if the rug were wet.
Walking distance from train station flat 2km. Room large with 2 queen beds. Quiet night time.
Bathroom too tight - not able to access toilet in normal way!
Location is good and staff are friendly
The sheet was not clean. My husband got bug bites all over his shoulder/neck/upper arms. TERRIBLE. The A/C was too loud and the hair dryer was broken.
Great location staff were nice Value for the money
Very noisy however. You can hear people from the street and every noise in the hotel. I am a very light sleeper so I could not sleep the whole night. It would also make a difference if the bedding was more comfortable.
Price, very friendly staff, very thick carpet in the hallways to limit noise
Very small bathroom, very small room, old furnitures
Basic & cheap accommodation; had everything I needed. Staff were very friendly, good location. All in all, I would recommend for those travelling on a budget.
low price refrigerator ventilator and clim
stairs hours for lunch must have more pillows
it served my purposes ,
need to replace the carpet , with laminate , it,s very inexpensive , and a fresh coat of paint
Fridge in the room. Makes it easy to buy food for breakfast. You can have breakfast before 8.00 is you ask nice and depending who is working in the reception.
They made the beds every day but did not clean the room otherwise. Toilet flooded over one day. Breakfast consists of coffee, juice and a croissant.
Reception 24 hr Good breakfast Low price as compared to other available options nearby! Next time I will definitely stay in this hotel! Great deal! :)
Poor internet speed at 3rd floor! However high speed at ground floor! :(
Staff were very friendly especially when our bags were lost in transit. They offer free national and international calls which was greatly appreciated. The location is excellent - 10 minutes walk from the main downtown waterside area. Bedroom was adequate for those used to basic but dont expect luxury.
Breakfast was a huge muffin or croissant and a cup of tea which was fine for us, but if you want variety and quantity, this is not your place. The bedroom was tiny - again fine for us, but dont be surprised! You are getting a great location for the price.
I like the mattress, very good for a sleep.
The stairs are so narrow, the room and bathroom are so tiny.
The place is in downtown and a 6 minute walk to the closest subway station (Champ de mars). The room was clean. The staff were accommodating and allowed to store my luggage till midnight after I checked out that day.
Nothing specific about the hotel. But there weren't any restaurants within 5-10 min walk.
first room they gave us was awful. they let us switch to a smaller but better room.
no windows opened for fresh air. wifi was not reliable.
Cheap and location
Rooms very small
Helpful staff, in the heart of Montreal...great for sightseeing!
Dated decor, slightly ratty...instant coffee for breakfast
Good location in the center.
I liked that it was in walking distance to restaurants/stores/bars etc.
I thought it was a little overpriced for the actual room. The pictures online made me think the room was going to be bigger and nicer and it wasn't what i expected but it was a decent stay.
It was close to old Montreal & restaurant area on St Catherine's. Bus & metro stations were nearby.
Construction was going on in the streets nearby, but was not a big problem.
The area was a popular spot for prostitution. Which made our stay uncomfortable
