Friendly staff and a good value if you are looking for a good deal.
The trains run all night and do rattle the tv reception.
the place is too old
I like to shoot some pool.
It is to close to the train track but it never disturbed me
very clean, big room.
Close to a great Austrian bakery
Too close to railway tracks with CN trains traveling/sounding their whistles throughout the night.
It was spacious
Old and tired needed some TLC. Bedding was thin. Pillows thin. Mattress hard. But the worst thing was it was across the street from the railway tracks and trains went through every 1/2 hour from 2:30am - 7:30am! and besides the rumbling of the cars, there was a crossing that they had to blow the whistle when passing through, which was extremely loud!
Has a fridge in room, price was right.
Check-in at bar, train sound shakes everything in room
The hotel was situated well off the highway, with an onsite restaurant and bar. The staff were very friendly.
The hotel was also situated very close to train tracks, and we heard the trains all night. Although the hotel is non-smoking, there was nowhere to sit outside for those wanting to go have a smoke.
very noisy not only near the train track but also there is a put downstairs. people made noises all over night! the bed is not even flat, which made us very hard to sleep.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Well kept older building. Only bar in town. Recommended!
The hotel was very nice and clean. Rooms are very nice, and what we paid to stay there was amazing
Beds could be a little bit better
Just a couple of things with room 3. Second bed in on the foot end there is a nail poking out. And bathroom fan is louder than the train. Other than those two things ,we loved the stay. Price was right for a long holiday, nice and quite location, view is wonderful.
Big clean room and reasonable price.
There is a railway about 30 meter away from this hotel, and every 1.5 hrs a train passed by, you would never get a chance to have a nice sleep even keep the windows shut.
Clean, comfortable. We arrived late and the staff was very accommodating.
Train tracks outside our window. 8 trains at least during the night. 2 year old grand son loved watching them, though.
Good, quiet and clean, just a older building.
The only thing is the train tracks are across the street and the building is located outside the town core.
room was decent, beds were decent
check in was through bar, trains very close, internet signal strength was low
Very reasonable price for a small, clean room with a comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. I will stay here again.
The bar at this hotel was very busy at the supper hr. but the restaurant was completely empty, so I found another another busy restaurant in town to eat.
My friend and I stayed here when we couldn't find anywhere to say in Jasper. Seeing that it was 60 dollars a night, we were not expecting much of this. Pulling up to the hotel, it was one of the sketchiest places I've ever seen and as we walked in, we walked up to the reception which also served as a bar. Eventually we saw our room, and it was extremely clean, the bathroom was spotless and even had a brand new bathtub! Bed was comfortable and WIFI was perfect and there was lots of parking space. The absolute best part about this place however was that we got to talking to the owner, peter and the manager/bartender. They were some of the friendliest, most genuine people and were an absolute delight to spend some time with. I forgot my toothbrush that night and had to go find one just before 10 pm, Peter helped me find a place I could go before everything closed, thank you for such a wonderful experience!
The staff service, the room, the price
The constant trains passing close by. Ah well, I got a free vibrating bed - every time a train went by....lol
Cleanliness wasn't to bad
Train goes by every 20 minutes day and night. Nothing to do in the hotel. No tv channels.
Staff Clean, large, comfortable room
Steep stairs, not for everyone
No check in required - picked room key up at the bar and just had to give my name as I had prebooked.
Hotel is next to railway crossing and there were numerous trains in the evening that blew their horn at the crossing so did not get any sleep. There is a bar below the rooms so hallway can get noisy in the evening with patrons as it was quite easy to hear noise from other rooms and the hallway.
trains running all night and day right outside our window accross the street
I was nearly put off by reviews about the train noise. I was vaguely aware of three trains passing between 9pm and 11pm and didn't hear another until 9am. Rooms at the rear face towards the hills and away from the trains. Very comfortable. Instant hot water, and very clean.
