Please note that this is a self check-in property and a budgeted accommodation. Guests are required to bring their own personal hygiene items (ie. shampoo, toiletries, towels).

Please note, at check-in all guests must present a valid passport and proof of on-going travel. Traveling Canadians must provide proof of residency. Residents of the Lower Mainland of British Columbia are not accepted.

Please note that there is a 6% charge when you pay with a credit card; 4% transaction when you pay with Paypal; 0% transaction when you pay with Etransfer.

Please contact us if your arrival time is later than 19:00 or later than the time you provided or we will assume you are cancelling the booking if we do not see you. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Group bookings of more than 5 guests will not be accepted. Bookings of 2 or more people in dormitory beds are not guaranteed to be in the rooms.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Please inform Vancouver Backpacker House in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Please note the Vancouver Backpacker House takes no responsibility for any lost, damaged or stolen luggage or personal property. Please make use of our luggage room or valuables storage at the front desk if you are travelling with valuables, or keep the valuables on your person at all times.

A damage deposit of CAD 100 is required. The property charges this days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
