Quiet despite busy location. Proximity to pub/restaurant. Breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, spacious room.
Comfortable sleep after a long trip.
Someone's alarm went off at 4 am and stayed bleeping for what seemed like hours. Perhaps the cleaners could ensure all alarms are in he off poition as part of their cleaning duties.
Downtown location with quick access to the airport
Not as clean as I would have liked
Didn't get much sleep was kept awake with the heating system, I turned it off only to hear the room above had theirs going so still never got any sleep. Not enough blankets on bed for a cold night which it Was on my stay. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, I had a long trip ahead of me that day 2 plane rides lasting 13 hours, so continental just didnt do it for me I'm afraid,
Great for early morning flights. Pup next door is good for a quick meal.
Stayed overnight Sat. and went for breakfast at 9.10 Sun am and told finished at 9.00am. We thought for w/e this could be extended to 10.00 am.
close to airport, complimentary shuttle was nice.
the complimentary breakfast room was in basement....a little inconvenient, but the food choice was good.
Room was clean and much more spacious than we expected (we booked a kitchenette). We received a 20% coupon for the great restaurant next door. The hotel is quiet and really close to the airport.
Needs some updating but is looked after really well considering its age...
Close to Sidney shops and attractions, could easily walk and see everything. We discovered the Star Theater and took in a couple of movies while relaxing in Sidney.
Name of location is misleading--this is really Travelodge Sidney Hotel, near the airport. Victoria has a Travelodge too, but Victoria is 30 minutes away and Hwy 17 had lots of traffic. We drove to the Victoria Travelodge first by mistake because I didn't have the street address with me.
good location, clean
transfer to airport could be 24 hours for early flights
The front desk staff were very helpful and patient We were not satisfied with our room so they moved us quickly-twice. free shuttle to airport
first room was very dirty, looked like bathroom had not been cleaned second room had no wifi reception complimentary continental breakfast was supposed to be from 6 to 9 am. When we got there around 8:30, there was almost nothing left, no juice or fruit.
Close to airport , stores within walking distance, very good buffet breakfast, laundry facilities available which was a nice surprise.
It was quiet, the staff were excellent, it is very convenient to both ferry and airport, the beds were comfortable and the room clean. Very close to all amenities with fueling right on the site. Parking was good and convenient to the hall exits.
the property is dated. repairs to the bath tub re-sealing had been done with clear silicone and damp/mould stains could still be seen around the edge. There was no mould but you had to look closely to see that. Not serious enough to stop me using the hotel again but looks are everything in this business..
Courtyard on first floor rooms
Hiking down the stairs for the breakfast.
Good size room, good mattress good breakfast
Due for paint in the next 2 years
The hotel is very well situated for quick access to Victoria Intl Airport. It also is on the main road leading to the very scenic Sidney waterfront and shopping area, and harbour front trails. Has a very scenic garden and swimming pool, with many rooms opening on to the lawn and patio around the pool. Very good continental breakfast provided as early as 5 AM, for those folks heading to early flights!
noise, dogs allowed next door barking, didn't clean room one day, overall terrible
washroom was decent beds were comfortable stayed in room 128 door access to pool from room close access restaurants/grocery close to transit close to beach/shopping shuttle service friendly / helpful staff pool
poor tv door slamming all night not nice(if I would have contacted f desk it would have been dealt with)
Proximity to airport
Room too hot....had to have the fan on all night
Load noise off and on all night thought it was aircraft but it was coming from the inner court yard area.
Loved the poolside room. The shuttle to the airport was convienent.
Room was very clean and a bit larger than the norm. We did hear the planes a it but not until early morning - nothing during the night.
Breakfast room was in the basement and the food was average.
Travelodge and other online reservation websites showed the hotel full. Booking.com had a few rooms available and for $30 less than the hotels website. Location for access to airport is great and most business's and attractions in Sidney are an easy walk.
I've stayed here for business several times a year for the past 9 years. Other than the TV's and beds not much has changed. My rooms carpet was filthy, I didn't take my shoes off. Wifi is spotty ask for a room with good reception. B-fast is usual cheap hotel fare, ok for a day or two but 100% carbs + banana. Place needs reno's.
I liked it, stayed there before.
I didn ' t like it one winter when the ferries were cancelled that we could not find anywhere to stay. I appreciate it is a staffing issue but it is a bit depressing when you know a place could not possibly be full to not be able to be accommodated . This happened a couple of years ago it was pouring with rain and we were walk ons. No fun
noise of the air-conditioning outside our window, impossible to sleep with open windows! tiny window! smell in the hotel from other rooms, where people were cooking strange meals... absolutely nightmare breakfast!
