washroom was decent beds were comfortable stayed in room 128 door access to pool from room close access restaurants/grocery close to transit close to beach/shopping shuttle service friendly / helpful staff pool
poor tv door slamming all night not nice(if I would have contacted f desk it would have been dealt with)
Proximity to airport
Room too hot....had to have the fan on all night
Load noise off and on all night thought it was aircraft but it was coming from the inner court yard area.
Loved the poolside room. The shuttle to the airport was convienent.
Room was very clean and a bit larger than the norm. We did hear the planes a it but not until early morning - nothing during the night.
Breakfast room was in the basement and the food was average.
I liked it, stayed there before.
I didn ' t like it one winter when the ferries were cancelled that we could not find anywhere to stay. I appreciate it is a staffing issue but it is a bit depressing when you know a place could not possibly be full to not be able to be accommodated . This happened a couple of years ago it was pouring with rain and we were walk ons. No fun
noise of the air-conditioning outside our window, impossible to sleep with open windows! tiny window! smell in the hotel from other rooms, where people were cooking strange meals... absolutely nightmare breakfast!
I love Sidney.great little town.outdoor pool but we did not use it.went to Victoria 2 days in a row.next time will stay in Sidney longer.love seeing the planes fly over Sidney.
Older building.our room was in the very back.bathroom floor was dirty and bathtub is pink.this is 2014-should be white.a/c did work great but very noisey.my room cost me $325.00 after all tax's which I guess is O.K. for a kitchenette.we didn't make any meals.ate out.we stayed 2 nights
Location, the pool.
Room age and cleanliness, slight smell of cigarettes at the entrance of the room...
Staff - very helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable room, quiet, fairly easy to park and considering how close it was to the airport - very peaceful. Surprisingly spacious and neatly kept up and I think they try hard to please.
The smell of someone smoking pot outside our window was nauseating and also the smell of the Dickens pub meat cooking. Bathroom a bit outdated and weird pink tub. Kitchenette was a bit of a misnomer. Breakfast also a misnomer! A good job I had a few other things with us.
The front desk staff was helpful durum my second over-night visit, and the shuttle driver was sweet.
Where to start? Uncomfortable bed, paper thin walls and noisy downstairs guests til 2:30 am, burnt-out bulbs, our-dated fixtures, breakfast served in basement and they lost or never wrote in my shuttle booking for following morning.... In fact the bookings turned out to be a day off. Woe. Never again. For *half* the money I had a better stay at a Quality Inn, the next night.
The room was clean, and reasonably quiet. The complimentary breakfast provided a decent selection. It was nice to be able to have a relaxing drink in the pub on premises, and granddaughters enjoyed the pool.
The noise of the air conditioner kept me awake at night, but when I turned it off the room became very muggy and the window didn't open wide enough to let in enough air to help cool it down. The bathroom counter was quite small and narrow, with little room for toiletries.
Immediately after I booked online, I received a phone call confirming details of the reservation and was able to confirm there was a shuttle to and from the airport. We were coming in for a funeral so having little details taken care of was greatly appreciated. The room was clean and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was ample and varied and all of the staff were wonderful. A surprise - The coffee was great!
The staff and location .... Excellent!
I found old popcorn on our floor and the tub soap dish was not clean.
Quiet. No disturbances. Comfortable. Clean. Easy access to car. Great breakfast. Pleasant pool. Breakfast had a high chair for the baby.
No restaurant for small children.
They over charge you for a hotel out of town , not Worth $200 a night ...
Location to Town of Sidney Small kitchenette in room Prince was reasonable
Not extremely clean Breakfast limited choices Room near pub so it was noisy and we could smell people smoking outside
my girls loved the waffles for breakfast having a pool to unwind at the end of a long day was great
Breakfast was good, Location was handy for everything and parking was easy. Spacious room, front desk friendly and helpful
Dated bathrooms, pool was dirty

Their hospitality.all of the stuff were helpful.location was very close to ferri ramp;timmies and other food restaurant. Ashique from Calgary.
Great staff.good pub attached.Charles Dickens.nice pool area.
Ice machine was a bit of a walk from our location
The room was nice and comfortable. Staff were nice. Breakfast was decent but the breakfast room was a bit tight.
Pool and courtyard closed too early at 9 pm. Could use another hour to mingle with friends.
