I was impressed by the location of this place.I Could go everywhere in downtown very easily. And there are a lot of restaurant in this neighborhood so that I could eat variety of foods everyday.(there is good super market vey close to this place so if you prefer to eat breakfirst in your room, there is no problem. But I recomend to go caffe that is in younge street to eat break fast ,they have very good waffle and crepes.)Lastly, ladies who work for this mansion are kind. There is no elevator so if your laggage is very heavy, and if you stay 3rd floor, there is a hard work you need to do.

What I liked: 1. The Service was very good. People at the front desk were always nice and helpful. 2. The location of the guest house is perfect. You are 10 minutes walk distance from Dundas Square What I didn't like: 1. Rooms are small, which is ok. But furniture is kind of old. My bed squeaked every time I turned to left or right, therefore I woke up every time I turned to the other side. The light switch above the bed was crushed, so it didn't work and it didn't look nice. In sum: It is a nice place to stay, if you are going to stay only few days and if you do not plan to spend much time in the room (they are very small). In sum Rooms are small, which is ok. But furniture is kind of old. My bed squeaked every time I turned to left or right, therefore I woke up every time I turned to the other side. The light switch above the bed was crushed, so it didn't work and it didn't look nice.

It was right downtown, easy to get to, quiet neighborhood, staff was excellent, it all all the amenities, wifi, microwave, cutlery and utensils, tv, own bathroom, kettle, air conditioner, very tight security, quiet guests. Given all the amenities, price, location, quietness, I found it was excellent value for my money and well worth it. I plan stay there again. I only had single sized bed, one comforter and sheet, I like to have an extra blanket. My pillows were not as soft as like. I could not locate a thermostat to turn the heat up a little. It was not cold but I like it a bit warmer side. My room was top floor so the roof angles made the room condensed and the shower head was too low for the average Canadian.

Just what it said on the tin - good value, simple, friendly. Room had it's own microwave, kettle and coffee machine, so although no food provided, it was easy to save a lot of money and live comfortably.

Nice historical place to stay. Clean, quiet, quaint and cozy with courteous staff. Love the little garden making three wishes at the water fountain. None except the water pressure can be improved. Other than that, it's a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

The single room was really comfortable exept the nois of the AC unit (which is everywhere else could be a problem). The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is well organized and clean in the house. The location is great because the public transport stations like buses or subway are in few minutes walk. I would go back there anytime. I like everything there! Of course it´s not as cheap, but hard to find cheaper and as comfortable as this guest house in Toronto. I can just recommend it!

The room was very tidy and clean. The bed was also very comfortable. There are no members of staff on site before 11am and after 7pm, which meant checking in at 8pm was a farce. There must have been easier way to get in, pay, and discuss parking. None of the three wi-fi connections worked properly. It was easy enough to login but was unable to access Internet.

It was quiet; the location was excellent; and the free wifi and $ 10 overnight parking are a very good deal for downtown Toronto The decor of the room was a bit sparse.

It was close to public transport and was in a vibrant neighbourhood. The building is a little old but this didn't worry me too much although the lighting in the rooms was a bit dim.

“Excellent price. It's not luxury but I don't know why it should be 2 star. I would rate it as a good 3 star. Room was clean and stylish. Wireless internet, coffee, iron, cable tv, good heating, nice en-suite, adequate breakfast. And 10 mins from Bloor and Yonge.” Kieran, Vancouver |
