The location. In a quiet street of Toronto !! The outside of the guest house was clean and tidy. Well kept garden.
Very small room. Could hear other guests through the walls. Furniture outdated.
There is onsite parking. Room was clean and organized
but parking seems a bit dangerous. but the room we stay in was slanted. The floor was uneven.
You get exactly what you expect with this guest house based on the pictures and price range. By no means is it a fancy five star hotel, but it's clean (ish. There were some hairs on the shelf in the bathroom and high up on the tile in the shower but otherwise, perfect. Room was made up every day with new towels.) and it's ridiculously convenient. You could not ask for a better location. Right off close to Yonge between Wellesley and Bloor subway stations. There's a Hasty Market right on the corner which is super convenient since there are fridges and microwaves in all the rooms so you can save a little on meals. The staff was super nice and let me leave my luggage at the front desk for a few hours after checking out. Speaking of the front desk, be mindful when booking that the front desk is only open certain hours - if you're arriving outside of those hours you have to make arrangements. They make this super clear when booking, but I ran into a couple checking in who hadn't paid attention and I had to help them contact management. So all in all, I would definitely stay again. If you're expecting something fancy, this may not be the place for you though - it's a little run down.. but again, for the price and location, you can't beat it. Keep in mind too that this is a three storey building with no elevator. If you're going to have a lot of luggage, ask for something on a lower level... because for serious... there are a lot of stairs to get up to the third floor.
Great value accommodation, nice to have microwave and fridge, friendly staff, very clean, great safe area of Toronto 5 minute walk to Yonge Street.
Microwave and fridge area a little cramped but still workable, otherwise all good.
Proximity to everything
The building and my room as lovely. The position was very convenient and near the main attractions
The hotel is centrally located and is convenient for us who stayed for business and some visit in downtown area. It is close to supermarkets, shopping areas and church!
We expect the bedsheets to be replaced at least once in two days.
Close to downtown, quiet, friendly and helpful staff.
Room was much too small.
The room was comfortable and very clean. The location was really good.
The girl working in the morning was unable to print my boarding pass and my airline receipt because they don't open any file (pdf or whatever) from a person who they don't know. Honestly I thing that was too much.
The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. It was also very convenient for walking to the Queen's Park area and is close to public transportation. The parking is convenient and the staff was very good about providing detailed information about my late arrival. The room was comfortable and clean.
The floor in room (on the third floor) was kinda slanted which was a bit bothersome. And the stairs are steep and narrow which is difficult with heavy luggage.
Everything in the roof room ,a Levels Place in toronto
No elevator ...the window should be possible to Open completely..some finde Day Create a Little breakfast area dowmstairs...
Loved how clean the room was, it was the first thing we noticed. Cheap and a great location - sure you aren't in downtown Toronto but it was a quick cab ride, walk or subway to anywhere you wanted to go. A lot of security measures were taken as well
My friend and I were getting ready to go out - listening to music not overly loud, and laughing at jokes, etc. Typical 20 year old stuff. Apparently the person below us was not of a fan of our noise and banged on their ceiling/our floor several times. It was only 9:00 at night as well. Obviously this isn't reflective of the hotel itself however I think this place is intended for an older traveller and not so much two 20 year-olds.
Location is very good. Close to subway
Service. Almost no service
Bed was comfortable
Single bed; bumping head on TV mounted over desk area; bumping head on cupboard above refrigerator on floor; the room was too small to do yoga (no floor space); furniture looked like the most inexpensive from IKEA; nothing Victorian about the room; lack of electrical outlets with electrical cords strewn all over the room; room door did not fit so light from hall leaked into room at night; could not open windows for air; staff not available; no receipt detailing room/parking and tax charges; charged to park in very small lot where car was damaged; all this for over $100 per night!
location, friendly staff,very clean
The setting was lovely...on a tree lined street as advertised, and the pathway in was surrounded by beautiful flowers.
The room was a little small, but certainly big enough for an overnight stay. If I'd been there longer, I would probably have wanted a bit more space.
location, confort, dishes.
carpet flooring, bad can opener and weak wi-fi signal.
Walking proximity to Yonge/Bloor
It was fine for travelling solo but would have been small if sharing the room with another traveller
Close to church st and train station.
too expensive and small.
Lots of towel racks, windows (which also opened), all small necessities i.e.: clock dado, stationary etc.
Fan automatically comes on with light in bathroom (never have liked these as noisy & would prefer manual switch)!
location was the best feature. The house itself was very nicely decorated with beautiful gardens.
We arrived in the middle of a heat wave, were given the top floor room and the air conditioner was not turned on beforehand for us. It was beyond stifling hot within the room and took forever to cool down. Would have been nice to have the a/c on for our arrival, especially on that floor!
I liked the vibe and look of the place. It was very secure, clean, and well-located.
A tad expensive for what we got but altogether decent for Toronto.
Service. Being allowed to leave luggage in storage for a morning until we left.
A wee bit crowded for two. I had stayed before alone and this time had my wife with me. She found it cramped.
I've been several times, and it's like going home. Staff is great. Very private, perfect location.
Rooms are a little small, but to me, it's more comfortable
Location was central and in a real neighborhood. Very convenient to have parking right behind albeit paid but reasonable
No real lobby, basically just the rooms.
