The lady at the reception (I forgot to get her name) was very friendly and helpful the whole time I stayed in the hotel from 6-8 June. She facilitated my quick check-in and has very kindly assisted me with my needs as a wheelchair user. The hotel is well situated - near shopping, sightseeing and dining - nice restaurants abound for whatever budget you have. It's located on the famous Yonge street in Toronto which makes going to places of interest a breeze. My only compaint is the lack of accessibility in the hotel entrance for a wheelchair user like myself. I gave suggestions to the hotel staff on how to address this which they promised to bring to the attention of management. If this issue is properly addressed, I have no doubt I will stay in this hotel again next time - and will recommend it to my friends as well. The staff are super and the location is unbeatbale. These are important things for most travellers like myself. The lack of accessibility for persons with disabilities. The rooms are also tight for wheelchair users to maneuver.

Easy access to the convention centre downtown. Clean. Pleasant staff. I couldn't control the temperature in the room or the light from the entryway. Also, the walls are thin. Twice I had to listen to panting while somewhere someone was getting pounding sex.

The staff were exceptionally professional, pleasant and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were recently updated. Hotel Victoria is also very well located, close to the train station and the subway and walking distance from many restaurants, theatres, and stores.

Great location for downtown and for train - Union Station. Everything in the small room worked perfectly, like heating, space for luggage, TV, bathroom, bed. Room was quiet.

Entrance of the hotel was nice. Bed was comfy. Our room had no real window, and we could hardly see outside. The a/c appliance was huge and took the whole window space. I definitely rather have a full window from which you can have natural light.

The location was great-right downtown. The bed was super comfy and the room had everything you need. The only downside was the lack of room service.

We liked the location downtown, the price, the service and the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Windows faced an inner courtyard and not outside.

Location and convenience Room did not have a sitting chair. The bathroom , especially the sink and counter, was very small. Difficult for off-lading and loading luggage. Parking was very remote.

Newly renovated rooms with modern decore...very clean. Convenient downtown location suited the purpose of my stay. Stayed in Deluxe Room, which is the way to go with this hotel. Laminated wood flooring made the room feel cold and was cold on the feet (slippers recommended) and the rumble of the subway was more prevalent then expected...not unbearable, but certainly noticeable. Telephone system was not functioning properly...programmed features did not work (front desk, wake up call, etc.)...had to call using cell phone.

I was pleasantly surprized to find a more intimate hotel in the downtown. I like the fact that it is very comfortable with good service while still being quite low key.

Staff was most helpful in letting me check in early and the room was very nice and quiet (facing the back of the building, which is not a great view, but extremely quiet). The coffee shop on the ground floor was a real plus.

Excellent position in Financial district, close to shops, restaurants, waterfront etc. Excellent staff, no question too troublesome. Restaurant provided really good breakfasts and lunches. View from room facing wall, otherwise a really nice and comfortable room.
