Quiet, no noise and none from other guests.
We were late getting in with no cell service and the gentleman working the desk finally got a hold of us. He had been waiting two hours past his shift to get us registered. He was so friendly and we felt horrible. Honestly, if it were me I would have just left. Lovely staff, clean rooms and the beds were so comfy. Would definitely stay again.
Great staff, clean and very comfortable beds and living quarters.
The view of the mountains is gorgeous. Breakfast is included.
The room smelled like chemicals, paint or old smoke or perhaps a combination.
It was a nice clean place and great value for the money.
We wish it was a little closer to downtown but would stay her again!
Everything was excellent
There was a conveyor style toaster and it just was too slow to use
I brought my friend's to Nelson because I knew it was a cool place, and I wanted them to think so too. The Villa motel was a perfect, cost effective place to stay - with the intention of bagging a couple of pow days and some notorious Nelson fun. All staff were very helpful and were never hesitant to accommodate our many requests where they could. Carly was especially appreciated as she gave us the means to dry out after an unexpected slush pow experience. The Villa motel is a modest motel, though has all you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I can't wait to go back!
We were in transit between destinations and we wanted something clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonable. The Villa was all of that. I liked that the floors are not carpet,so you can really tell the room is clean. We have tried other more expensive hotels in Nelson and this was the best.
Friendliness and accomodating staff Cleanliness Great kitchen facility Prices very reasonable Staff always remembers us and our preferences!
Clean, roomy, cozy and quiet.
it was an upstairs room which was ok as we choose it because it had a big leather lounge as well. It was easy to find and the staff were so helpful in every way possible
Pillows, this is not a Motel issue it all across the places we stayed.
The pool, rooms very clean and comfortable, easy free parking, location
Breakfast was lame
the TV was poor quality for channels and entertainment hardly any sports channels and no HD. that is all the comments I have
I did like the room and bed, very clean, good value for your money.
The service at the front desk was exceptional. The attendant went out of his way in answering all our questions regarding what to do / where to eat in Nelson in a very knowledgeable way.
Would have been nice if the pool was open a little later (past 9pm).
no fan in bathroom starting to see mold no smoke detector fridge very noisy
Breakfast was not served until 8 a.m. which is late for those who are travelling, the heating was controlled by the motel so was unable to turn heat up when needed upon arrival and going to bed, it appeared to come on through the night, the batteries were out of the smoke detector sitting on the table so no active smoke detector , the owners were not very social.
was not able to stay longer
Good location Comfortable
Needed a lot of light bulbs replaced.
the room was spotless and the staff was great. Amanda's was close so easy to get a quick meal that was also value for the money
person upstairs was heavy on their feet and made lots of noise.
We liked the location, we liked the value compared to chain motel prices. The room was fine and the bed/mattress comfortable so we got a good night's rest.
The breakfast arrangements were different to say the least. At least there was something. Office too small. The villa motel is aging. The powerlines ruin the view. And, the "view" is non existent from most rooms. We were disappointed.
Location is decent, right over the bridge from nelson, close to hike to view point, restaurant on site serves decent food, staff was friendly.
We had two bedroom apartment, one of the bedroom windows was facing an air shaft, there was no sound proofing so we could hear the upstairs guests walking, flushing toilets etc. The kitchen was undersupplied, you had 3 forks, 4 plates, no bowls etc. Mismatched furniture and odd tables were scattered through out but there were only two chairs at the dining table. The swimming pool facilities looked dated and dirty. I would not go back.
We liked the access to the salt water pool. Good value for the cost of the room. Plenty of parking space. We enjoyed our continental breakfast and the waffle maker and free postcards was a nice touch.
The room could have been cleaner, the bathroom needed dusting (cobwebs) and the heat register was dirty. The step up into the front doorway was a bit high and easy to trip over. Our refrigerator had not been plugged in and the ice tray was full of water.
The staff were especially helpful and offered many activity suggestions for the town of Nelson.
The staff are attentive and pleasant. They fixed TV problems I was having immediately.
The breakfast is a scrum. It's okay, but not relaxing or pleasant.
