Office clerk was friendly
Filthy disgusting didn't feel safe in our room. A/C wasn't working. Picture on booking don't match the hotel at all. Can hear everything, everyone in the hallway. Travelling with children or with lot of bags ? Don't go there, better book a motel. Even though the price was cheap, it's not even worth half this price.
the person in the reception he is very obtrusive and the serves was very poor the room is not clean.
- Cheap - Friendly Staff - Helpful, kind staff - EXCELLENT LOCATION
- LOUD all day and night - Room not very clean - Bug bites after sleeping in bed - HOT (A/C was there but did nothing)
Half a window replaced by DIY wooden fan system, room nothing like the pictures. Very disappointing considering what I paid!
I liked the location, concierge honored my reservation despite being unable to run my credit card until I cleared with my bank that I was traveling internationally
Smallest room ever. Barely any room for a bed in there. Worst mattress I've ever slept on hands down. The bathroom was crawling with bugs. Too many strip clubs in vicinity of hotel
Location was good
small room, not clean,
The staff were helpful, the price was affordable, the location made getting around with public transportation very easy and economicly viable. The refrigerator in the room made some things easier for my travels. The bed was comfortable.
Parking on the street and the need to deal with panhandlers (even though they were polite and not really a problem) The bathrooms were across the hall - at least for the budget prices...
Breakfast cafe linked to hotel lobby, though I didn't have time to use it I had a good sized room
Situated on a noisy street - the night I was there had the unfortunate combination of a festival carrying on late at night and construction just across the road from the early hours. The thin windows did nothing to keep this noise out so sleep was difficult. Rooms and lobby need renovation No hairdryer in room Bed wasn't great Bathroom was especially decrepit Unnecessary $5 deposit on the room key
Room (standard double with bathroom) was very clean. Good price. Location is great but be aware that it is in a busy and noisy area so if you are a light sleeper, be warned. I would stay there again for the location, price and comfort.
sketch elevator - take the stairs going down. Small shower stall (but bathroom very clean).
Every time I returned to the hotel they were on me about what room I was in and how many guests I had. The door gets locked after a certain time (understandable with the homeless in the area), but at times people were not at the desk to let paying customer in when they were out late. Won't be staying here again. Not worth the money and how strict they are.
Cheap with excellent location for myself and my partner during the weekend of Heavy Montreal. We just needed a place to sleep, shower, and keep our things while visiting the city for the weekend. Very close to restaurants, shopping, bus stops and the metro. Having a fridge in the room was a plus. The shared bathroom wasn't as much of an annoyance as I thought it would be.
My friends couldn't visit past 9pm or some ridiculous time like that, even though we were just stopping by to grab some things an go again. Wish the room would have been a bit cleaner, but honestly at $70 a night, I wasn't expecting much.
The hotel is very well located in the most vibrant street of Montreal. The room was very cozy and comfortable.
Noisy at night.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to the convention center and not far from 'Old Montreal'(walking distance). The price is really cheap.
Do not expect more. Only one pubilc bath and toilet is exist for more than 10 rooms. The room is small. If you need a cheap room for sleeping only, it may be right choice but no more.
Good location, close to resturants, shops and metro. Staff were friendly and eager to help.
Basic. I thought it was quite expensive for what it was. Beds were very hard.
Location and Wi-Fi availability Bathroom shower and instant hot water Nice desk person on weekend
Towels not replaced and very thin Elevator difficult Soap small and insufficient Breakfast mediocre at additional cost
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The cost was reasonable for those on a budget and the location couldn't have been better - right on the main strip (Ste. Catherine) so in easy walking distance to all major shopping areas, the Village, Places Des Artes, and Old Montreal.
I thought the bathroom floors could have been a bit cleaner.
It was the worst hotel I have ever been !
The location and the money was fantastic. And the room and service was good.
Everyday there were bugs all over our washroom and a few always laying in the sink, which was disgusting. I also wish there another garbage bin otherwise everything else was excellent.
Clean floors, sheets, towels, shower, sink. Low price. Very close to the convention center, the old port, and other interesting places. They do have breakfast, but it costs $4.60.
The air-conditioner is in the window and not well sealed, so street noise comes in easily. Some call that area of town the red light district. There are some shops and theaters of that type in the area, but I also saw parents out with their kids at midnight in the area. The Wi-fi was pretty slow. You have to pay for parking at a parking garage or lot a few blocks away. No deadbolt on the door. Only a simple door-nob lock.
Location. friendly staff.
The room was antiquated. A/C could barely circulate air in the room. No safe. No secondary lock. Mattress were horrible. The bathroom was disgusting. Basically one step above a hostel.
noisy room is too small bathroom is terrible elevator is terrifying
close to everywhere
too noisy，the room is small，the door is hard to open
The room was surprisingly cleaned.
The location was disappointing: prostituates, weird guys everywhere. The hotel lift does not function properly: it hurts people by closing the door without notice and after an I expecting short period of time. The floor is not balanced so there is up and down areas. No breakfast for the price (although to would not have taken it there regarding the whole experience).
location was right downtown and within walking distance to all the sites. room was very clean and polite staff
tv wasn't hooked up--air conditioning not cool enough. No towels in private bath
