The position, the staff very kind
The room was dirty and very poor, it gave the impression to be very old. There was no wardrobe. A lot of strange spots in the bathroom, on the bath tub. There were messages written on the floor in the bathroom from past clients. Wifi did not work in our room. I don't recommend to spend even one night in this hotel.
The location was excellent, the atmosphere charming, price point affordable, staff was kind and hospitable.
Wifi was inconsistent.
Great Hospitality Price Location Room Decoration
Lack of elevator
Nice hotel, the room was cosy and the staff really nice
Great location, good installations and quiet at night to sleep.
the wifi should improve
location is incredible, room clean, staff friendly and helpful
Bed uncomfortable, noisy patrons, lots of hallway noise with common washroom facilities.
Nice little hotel. Would stay there again, great staff
The room was very small (around 100 ft2), but is fine for sleeping. When I first walked in to the front door I pulled the door of the secure entrance and the "locked" door opened with relatively little effort. The hotel clerk came out and seemed angry and accused me of breaking the door although I clearly am not superman and this was an issue with the door's lock. After he fiddled with the door and got it to lock again he dropped his attitude.
The hotel is just around the corner from station where the airport bus drops you so it is easily accessible. All that the village has to offer is one block away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is very comfortable and you can't beat the price. I would definitely stay there again.
Friendly staff. Clean hotel.
Wireless could be more reliable
Very kind receptionist.
I recommend to add a sleeper in the room.
No hair dryer. hand soap is from dollorama store which i was okay but body soap also from dollorama hand soap. not enough towels.
After reading a review from a couple years ago we were weary on what to expect...but we were amazed. It isn't a fancy hotel but perfect for a leisurely stay. It was a great location. Only a few blocks from great places to see and eat. Near old montreal, old port, the village. Front staff was very accommodating. We were running late and she stayed later to check us in, and she also gave us a map and reviewed it with us for top things to see. Everyone was very friendly. I would recommend this place!
Not far away from public transit Not far away from downtown core Clean room, great service Room was big enough; 4 adults were comfortable (3 men; 5'10" min 180+lbs.)
Wi-Fi is sketchy at best. Can be a bit hard to find; rows of hotels in the area.
It is okay but you can find better value for your money.
Wi-fi does not work well at all. Rooms a little dirty.
Location of this hotel is excellent- you are in the center of great areas to visit. The front hotel staff was very helpful with directions and arranging taxis, etc. Having a small refrigerator in the room was so nice. We had a small patio off the second bedroom which was a nice place for having breakfast- a little table would have helped.
The bathroom floor was dirty and there was no towel bar. We had a third floor suite and the stair from second to third was steep; so if you have problems climbing stairs, this is not the place. The bed in the second bedroom was very hard; the front staff got us a pad to place beneath the sheet which helped.
Really helpfull staff. Hotel is in the downtown.
friendly staff location cost
floors were sticky and dirty wi-fi was slow and irregular connection need more noise insulation and coffee maker bed needs to be fixed to headboard, couldn't sit on bed as it slid down the room
Good location, close to Metro station. Public underground parking 2 min walk away (12 CAD 24h). Refrigerator and tea kettle in the room (no coffee or tea bags).
Staff/reception only open until 10 pm - so make arrangements if arriving later.
-Friendly Front Desk staff -A/C -Flat screen TV -location(near to the metro)
The estimate fees were not accurate The Bathroom/ Restroom was not on the same floor than the bedroom(upper level)
Great location (right next to the gay hub of Montreal, and also near the University). Although the neighborhood had a fair number of homeless folks, we did not feel unsafe. If you just want a place to crash, then I would highly recommend this place. If you want someplace a little nicer with reliable internet access, you probably want to look elsewhere.
It's a very no-frills establishment. It was clean, but it was not cozy. If you plan to only sleep in your room, then this hotel will suffice. The staff were helpful and friendly. We were told that we could secure parking for $5 a day, but when we arrived, we were directed to a $12 a day lot. The air conditioner clicked loudly all night.
The owner is the most amazing person ever, she waited for us until late as we had a severe delay on the roads, she explained everything we asked for and she was always likeable and available. The place itself is very nice and confi.
Service, staff, cleanliness and location make this place worth a stay for couples on a budget.
3rd visit and can confirm that the room comfort is uneven. While the front rooms are comfortable and quiet, the rooms in the back have old mattresses, loud A/C and you hear the outside noise easily.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was just a block and a half off St. Catherine, and convenient (if not greatly disguised) parking garage just across the street.
Bed/mattress creaked, and pillows were horribly thin and kept falling in between mattress and headboard. WiFi never worked the whole weekend -- router was broadcasting but no actual service. Also, coffee pot and cups in room, but no coffee. For pay machine in lobby.
location and price
this hotel is better suited for couples and families. it's almost like staying in someone's house; there are keys for the front door that are $150 if you lose them, you can't make any noise, and you pretty much have to go to the front desk for everything (towels, iron + board, etc). the location and price was great, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.
