The location convenience and comfort of the room
Clean room, top of the line furnishings, carpet, well decorated, lovely kitchen area
Having to check in to WiFi with security info every time my computer was used. Hot Tub water not very hot
Clean Beds were comfortable good value for price staff were friendly rooms were modern
pool closing at 11, wish you could swim later at your own risk wasn't sure how to access the continental breakfast and wasn't given any information on this at check in
Free parking, swimming pool, free parking, whirlpool and did I mention FREE PARKING. Lol
The minus-25 weather and snowstorm
Was not cookie cutter design Well priced Safe for female travelling alone Comfortable bed Clean Friendly staff
Staff was very rude and not inviting at all.
Very clean, comfortable room. Good location (even though the street becomes one way just where the hotel is, and it is not easy to spot relative to the off ramp for the highway.
A bit noisy especially when I had requested a quiet room so I could sleep in the afternoon. I was too close to the pool, screaming children, and housekeeping was really, really loud! Front desk a bit upity. I had to leave without spending the night because of a weather warning--no consideration given.
Bed was seriously soooo comfortable!! Lovely room overall
Nothing really. Was pleasantly surprised!
Needed an emergency layover place and found this great gem of a place. Easy access to major routes, great price, great food, very very clean, great room, very relaxing while we waited out the blizzard. Wonderful saviour of a place.
Rooms, staff, facilities
The restaurant was unsatisfactory. The continental breakfast was not acceptable.. There was an extra charge given to me because I asked for 2 slices of gluten free toast for my breakfast. ($2.50 + tax). The selection of fruit was poor, the coffee had coffee grounds in it because they didn't have the correct filters. Overall I was not impressed with it. I believe this part of the service is run separately from the hotel but because of that I would be hesitant to return there.
Dinner at restaurant was delicious. Owner and staff great. Will definitely being friends for night out.
Continental breakfast a snooze
great location for our needs lots of room very comfortable beds
bathtub plug didn't work breakfast was awful
The comfort of room
Comfort, price, staff
It is not so close to public transportation like other downtown hotels, in the cold months it makes difference. One of the receptionist had never a smile on his face during my two night stay.
Restaurant food & menu excellent with new owner Chef Dianne Sese.Prices very reasonable.Definitely will come again.
Everything including the Portuguese restaurant where I ate for 3 out of 4 nights however the location of the building is bad, being between two very busy thorough ways (Main Street and the Freeway)
Noisy room from busy Main Street on one side and busy freeway on the other side. The fridge and HVAC was also noisy requiring earplugs to get some sleep.
Location and comfortable. Pool looked lovely although did not get a chance to try it. Breakfast was included.
The breakfast could be improved. It did not offer any real protein choices and a lot of the items were high calorie sweets.
Easy access to Hwy 403
location and overall atmosphere .Needed to be a McMaster hospital at 6.00am and location was perfect. Room was above expectations and staff friendly and helpful.
We were pleasantly surprised. Dinner in the restaurant was quite good. Close to both the airport and the University. We didn't have to drive downtown to get there! Superb value for the money.
Very clean, excellent staff, location was great, nice rooms and facilities.
A changing room and a washroom in the pool area. Most people aren't comfortable walking to the pool in their swimsuits. Have to go across the main hall at the lobby to use the washroom.
Great beds, nice clean updated room & hotel in general, nice pool & hot tub Breakfast included & free parking-nice place:)
I'm pretty noise sensitive, so why I would have chosen a hotel next to a 400 series highway is beyond me! Maybe the rooms on the other side of the highway are quiter? We didn't bother to ask only being there one night. We had hoped for a few more options at breakfast but it was a standard continental.
Convenient location, friendly staff.
One room was on the Main Street side. Very noisy making sleep difficult. Breakfast very basic.
The room with the kitchenette was very well priced and having a 7 month old this type of room was awesome.
The breakfast needs some improvement. We stay at many hotels and this one had the lowest end continental breakfast.
Beds were very comfortable. Convient location
