Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Waiter was also very friendly and efficient.

We liked the comfort of the rooms. The cleaniness was also well appreciated.

The fact that we went thinking we were staying in a rustic mill with ' old charm" and ended up in a brand new 'eco room". We were very disappointed with the type of room we were in , when that was the reason we had chosen to stay in Wakefield for the 'Mill" style and 'rooms of stone"... Not the super modern soaker tub in the sleek ultra modern bedroom. You can get that almost Anywhere.

Small and intimate. A little off the beaten track, but not to far that you could not walk to the village. The brunch was good. The nature and trails. Everyone was freindly, did not encounter any unhappy people.

Room was a little noisy, some one up stairs with noisy shoes. Would be nice to have a minnie fridge in the room. Inn caters to non guests for Sunday brunch, hence it was very crowded and hard to find seating in the assigned area. Other dinning areas were hesitent to let us sit in there area.

location was beautiful. Truly Canadian decor. New addition is very swanky! Cleaner was very helpful with directions!

breakfast did not seem ready for the amount of guests staying (wedding party) but I think it had to do with a busy mother's day the day before. Not enough plates, really slow service to get coffee/order. we could tell the staff was angry with us.

Our party found the staff rather brusk, verging on rudeness on the phone, but in person couldn't have been more helpful. I would suggest a llittle training re over the phone relationships to make them warmer. Another thing, at least one member of the serving staff warmed up considerably when I spoke French to them instead of English; I would suggest us Anglophones need to feel wanted too.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

We loved our overnight stay at the Inn. It is perfectly situated and the waterfall is so relaxing. We highly recommend a room overlooking the falls. I had a massage at the spa and it was very tranquil and relaxing. We are planning to return in thr near future. Well worth the drive.

Beautiful surroundings, inviting outdoor hot tub, cosy bar & restaurant, friendly staff, quiet rooms.

The ambiance was excellent, new rooms were great, what one should expect

Poor admin, booking, reservations, knowing where we should be, everyhting was contradictory, chef had an off weekend not to the standards I am accustomed to, service was slow, again a reflection on the kitchen this weekend, staff need better training, too laid back attitude, ok to have if this what you want but they have to be on their game always. You need a pool.

A little more choice on the menu would be good

-the ambience of the Inn--festive, warm, inviting -the friendliness of the staff

-I was redeeming a "Life Experiences" gift card and sought direct instructions from the Inn staff on how to correctly book the night; the information I was given was incorrect ("when booking on-line be sure to put the # of your Life Experiences gift card and time you would like to have dinner in the special requests section"). When my husband and I arrived there was no dinner booking (fortunately there was room for us--in fact, we were seated in a large area of the dining room alone...) and the man at the front desk had no idea what to do with the gift card (he just took it so that the next staff could deal with it). This lead to us being billed for dinner with gratuities (which were supposed to be included in the gift card--we were reimbursed for the dinner but not the gratuity). We did not receive the complimentary champagne as advertised on the card. The "gift" of a romantic night away was somehow marred by the staffs' lack of awareness of what exactly the "life experience" was supposed to be.

Friendly staff / quiet environment / idyllic setting / cozy pool and spa.

we liked the quality of of the fine dining restaurant better last year. altough the service of the waiter (olivier) was exeellent. we also found te vibriting floor above the spa disturbing during dinner.

This was an amazing food experience and of total relaxation. Very friendly staff, great location. Picturesque village. A must do.

Les soins le personnel au spa tres accueillant et professionnel, excellent soins

L'accueil au restaurant, manque de service reservation pour 6h15 la salade est arrive a 7h30 et le repas principal a 8h15 manque de personnel, beaucoup trop lent.

Le décor est enchanteur et le charme un peu vieillot du village est agréable, à condition de parler anglais! La piscine et le bain tourbillon sont nouveaux de cette année et sont impeccables.

Ce qu'il manque? Un air climatisé plus silencieux et une machine à glaçons disponible dans la vieille partie de l'auberge. De plus, le prix "Booking.com" nous a permis d'économiser presque 175$ sur le prix régulier. à 350$, je n'aurais certainement pas été satisfaite du rapport qualité prix.

Cadre idyllique, personnel arrangeant et à votre ecoute. Nous avons apprécié le Spa et le calme alentour..la prochaine fois je viendrais sans mes amis mais avec ma femme!

Room seemed overpriced, especially for time of year. Because of wedding, many facilities were not available. Did not know about wedding at time of booking

Beautiful setting and relaxing sitting beside the river listening to the falls.

Le personnel était très accueillant. Le petit déjeuner était complet et de qualité. La table de la salle Héron était très bonne, les produits frais et de qualité. Le lieu est très relaxant.

L'accueil du Spa n'était pas à la hauteur. Aucun sourire. La jeune fille ne nous a pas dit bonjour, rien d'avenant. Elle nous a regardés comme si nous la dérangiez lorsque nous avons voulu accéder au jaccuzzi extérieur.
