The staff

Staff very attentive, food lovely, enjoyed the spa facilities. All the little touches, turn down service, cookies, welcome chocolates. Would recommend as great location

The space was luxurious The bed was extremely comfortable The housekeeping was exceptional with little unobtrusive touches When I returned to my room the bed was turned down a couple of cookies were set down on my night table the bedside lamps were turned on and the drapes were closed. It made you feel special, a home away from home

I did try to take advantage of the spa but my request for a massage appointment was unsuccessful because the massage therapist was not resident. I was informed she worked part time at a nearby clinic and was unavailable during my short weekend stay.

The warmth and friendliness of staff was outstanding. The hotel had thought of everything in terms of comfort from daily newspapers through to accessible powerpoints, a fabulously comfortable bed and bathroom accessories.

I loved the lobby of the hotel with the fire and the restaurant/bar.

I think the rooms are lovely but could use a little updating.

Perfection on all levels

The staff is unfailingly friendly, helpful, and respectful. You are greeted by name once you have checked in as you come and go or stop by the front desk for information. The bar is chic yet inviting and the food service and quality is excellent.

There was nothing about the hotel I didn't like.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Great levels of service. An ideal place to stay at the end of our vacation having spent a week in Whistler.

Staff and service impeccable. Location great. While small, room was comfortable. Bed was unbelievable! Balcony was lovely retreat from comfort of room.

Room wasn't properly cleaned on one of the mornings. (eg. bits of paper/garbage left on bathroom floor. Ashtray on balcony left to collect rainwater.)

A very small wrinkle! The bathroom extractor fan ineffective in room 609.

Very comfortable spacious Junior Suite. The staff were very friendly and exceedingly helpful. Loved the decor.

Great atmosphere. Loved having a lounge with music on site. Spa was great. Felt pampered.

The hotel is charming and classy it is central to everything vancouver has to offer. The room was very cozy and romantic.

The remote control for the tv was a pain the battery was weak. Other than that everything was great

Not much wrong, room didn't have any view and a tad out of the way from the business core but all around I would give this hotel an A- to A all around.

The service was excellent,friendly and welcoming. The bar lounge ambience was cozy and inviting and the food was very good.

The staff was accomodating and very friendly. We're from the States, and was surprised that most (if not all) spoke English.

The lighting in the living areas of the room was poor. We could not easily read. We came in on Saturday, and could not book Spa times other than mid day, which detracts from tourist/shopping activities.
