I loved the feel of this hotel. All was great. Staff, service, Valet. You name it. Very convenient location to shopping, restaurants, entertainment.
Super comfy bed - like sleeping in a cloud I got upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely surprise Lovely, warm decor Friendly and helpful staff Really nice restaurant/lounge
Perfect location as we easily walked to a Canuck's game at Rogers arena, and also to a show at the Vogue theatre. Did some shopping on Robson street which is super close. Staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. Went for a massage which was absolutely incredible. The soaker tub in the room was probably the best part. Also loved that the room had a balcony
My only complaint would be $30 a day for valet parking, but understandable and is actually pretty standard, or even on the cheap side for Vancouver parking.
Room Quality was amazing and the staff were always friendly and had a smile on their faces
Nothing- absolutely amazing few days in Vancouver thanks to the Wedgewood
Great service... you are made to feel very welcome without being intrusive. Love the little touches...chocolates, bedtime cookies, etc! Very accommodating.
The main floor restaurant and lobby were very well presented. There were Christmas carollers at lunch time!
Our reservation was for an executive queen room with a balcony. There was a balcony outside, but no access to it! The room was small, and the carpet in particular needed replacement (stretched, discoloured). The washroom had been upgraded and was nice. I have had other rooms here that are larger and much nicer. Avoid 1404.
Good location. Very comfortable.
Extra charges for parking.
It's not noisy. It's not flashy or modern looking. It's relaxing. It has an older style of decoration - wood and heavy curtains, rather than bare concrete or shiny steel beams. The staff seem to care about what you think of them and they seem sincere when wanting to help. The staff smile and say hello. It's civil, its peaceful, the Bacchus food is spectacular, and the hotel has a good feeling about it.
This was our first stay with you and we totally enjoyed our visit & will definitely return.
I think the valet parking needs more room or signage so people don't cluster the area.
Pretty well everything. Felt at home, welcomed and well served. Rooms are very cozy in the best sense.
Wanted to stay longer.
From the moment we walked into the beautiful lobby,we were surrounded by comfort,ambiance,and hospitality!The service is First class..between the cookies delivered to our door at night,to the newspaper delivery in the morning,and the smiling,helpful doorman,we felt like honoured guests.This will be my hotel of choice every time I'm in Vancouver from now on.
Friendly and attentive staff throughout.
Fabulous staff, wonderful bar and dining room. What's not to like.
Trying to think of something..... no can't find anything.
Although we only stayed one night, we had a fabulous time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - especially Carey the doorman. We had drinks and dinner in the lounge right beside the fireplace which was lovely, and the bed was so comfortable we decided to take a picture of the tag so we could buy it for ourselves! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality, we will definitely be back again.
location is ideal;
room and parts of hotel look tired; Furniture looks old ;Coffee unit is very old; Not enough clothes hangars in room for 2; Cups too small for tea; ok for coffee; Suggest rooms have walk in showers ; replace old baths;
The ambiance, the peaceful atmosphere and attention to details, make the Wedgewood hotel very unique. Loved the fireplace in the lobby and in the Lounge. The cookies and water at turndown were very appreciated! Very nice hotel. Will try to stay there whenever we are in Vancouver.
We really enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you it was amazing
Great location & friendly staff
Every time I stay at this hotel I am always treated with the utmost professionalism. Great place to stay for a romantic getaway or for business.
Very helpful and quick service.
Room service neglected to take our recycling from our room when they cleaned it.
This is a unique boutique hotel that provides exceptional service and quality. My wife and I were celebrating our 41st anniversary: stayed at the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant ... all was excellent.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful in answering all our questions. The room was large and beautifully appointed. Location was the best. Definitely a must when staying in Vancouver!
Great central location. Staff was very helpful, pleasant and professional. Comfortable bed.
Could not adjust the temperature in the room very well. It was either very cold or very hot. Parking per night was very expensive. Have to pay extra to get a room on the quiet side of the building. (garbage trucks come by at 6am)
the bed was so comfortable and the jetted tub was a delight
there was nothing to complain about
Other than breakfast the stay was outstanding.
I don't have a problem with paying for the "free" breakfast but the bill indicated $44 for toast, a parfait and coffee for my wife and I. We have been all over Europe - you could learn from what they offer for breakfast as part of a nights stay.
