Everything. I mean it! The beautiful beachfront, the view of the bay, the hot tub. The location is 30 minutes west of downtown Victoria. We had the best of both worlds. Victoria by day, and rest and relaxation by night. Beautiful and tasteful interior design. Kitchen and BBQ access. The best part of our 3 night stay was Marg, the owner/operator. She has the perfect amount of style and grace, and she made us feel as if we were home.

    We liked it all!

True west coast beach experience, quiet, spectacular view and beach access, but minutes away from Eco and traditional Victorian charming attractions. Would definitely come back. Great spot for small weddings or group getaways.

Room was super clean & large king bed very comfortable. Beautiful Lodge & Yard right on Beach. Wild Blackberries growing throughout property - very tasty! Yum Nyum! Marg Prepares a Wonderful, Healthy Breakfast that you won't find at any outstanding value! Marg is a very friendly hostess and made our stay most enjoyable...her dog is very friendly too, although he scolded me for picking the blackberries:)

The view of the ocean from the garden.

The misrepresentation of the rooms on the internet - no TV or Wi Fi in the room. Lack of a basic luggage rack and/or a desk or table to place your personal belongings. No mirror in the room so impossible for a lady to apply her makeup or dry her hair. Walls were so thin that conversations from other rooms could easily be heard. Light switch was on opposite wall from entrance door so coming back to the room in darkness represented quite a challenge.

My Cousin and I go on a short holiday each summer. We have stayed in many B&Bs and we have to say that this place excelled in all areas. Marg even gave us a snack when we left!! Great value for the cost! Location was honestly 25 steps to the ocean beach.

The location, as the gardens edged a lovely beach. The serenity, as the gardens were so nice and peaceful. The house, as it was very 'canadian' being built with logs. The decor and the facilities, which were of a very high standard. The hostess Marg, as she was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a place I would love to return to!

I was originally concerned that the house was situated next to a RV park. However they were well screened from each other, the RV park was very quiet and truthfully you would never have known it was there.

Location The beach was sandy and there were few people around during my stay during the week

The owner neglected to tell me that there would be construction going on on the lodge during my stay. I specifically went there for rest and quiet. The wall between rooms was paper thin and I could hear the person in the adjoining room snore while I was trying to sleep. The breakfast that you pay extra for was minimal and not very tasty. The owner manager talked to all guests about her troubles. Guests were required to take shoes off in all areas of lodge which could be annoying at times. There was no mirror in my room. No tv except in very busy common area. Construction workers were constantly walking by my room and left wheel barrels blocking my way out of my room.

Friendly and accomodating manager, beautiful landscaping, relaxing atmosphere, homey and nicely re-decorated older facility, within about 20 minutes of the outskirts of Victoria

No TV in rooms (there is one in the common room on the first floor). No AC, but it wasn't needed in the few days that we were there.
