The extent to which the comfort and experience of the guest has been considered. All requrements for comfort and gastronomic interest were fully in place. The choice of furnishing and decoration which is in sympathy with the wonderfully preseved historic house, was both interesting and a pleasure to experience.

The warmth of the welcome, the lovely house, the great breakfasts and the central location all made this a great place to stay. A visitor pantry meant drinks and yummy cake were available all day and the evening sherry a nice treat. Close to many good restaurants and tourist sites. Definitely recommend.

Great food, good company, amazing location, free bikes, accommodating owners, and beautiful weather made for the perfect weekend getaway to Vancouver. I couldn't recommend a B&B more!

Hot water wasn't so hot by the time we took our showers...but also wasn't freezing cold.

Especially helpful in suggesting places to eat and in arranging any services (transportation, reservations, etc.)

The breakfast served at one table meant that you met and spoke to other guests and learned about their experiences of Vancouver as well as their home areas. The breakfasts themselves were superb and each day was different. The table was tastefully set and the chat was great.The rooms were exceedingly comfortable with all mod cons. The guest pantry was first rated allowed you to have a snack at any time or a late night cup of hot chocolate. Will book again if we visit Vancouver, we had a most enjoyable stay and our hosts were professional and made us most welcome.

West End Guest House is very well-located to central Vancouver, yet in a quiet leafy neighbourhood. I was able to walk to great restaurants, cafes, shops, Stanley Park, English Bay and the harbour. The owner, Evan, is an exceptional host. He is very welcoming and friendly, yet also respectful of one's privacy. As a lone traveller, I very much enjoyed the opportunities to engage with other guests over breakfast and over sherry in the late afternoons. The breakfasts were superb. Evan's attention to detail sets this Bed and Breakfast apart. I would definitely stay again.

This was a very comfortable stay. The hosts were welcoming and happy to offer advice as to places to visit / eat. Breakfasts were delicious. Each morning guests were given fresh fruit, a very healthy smoothy and an optional hot dish. At the end of the day it was good to unwind over a glass of sherry with Evan or his partner and the other guests. The West End Guest House is a lovely building, a well preserved example of west coast vernacular architecture. Each room is beautifully presented with care given to interior design in keeping with the building's history. It is ideally situated in the West End within walking distance of the city centre.

Delightful Bed and Breakfast, hosts were lovely. Close enough to walk to the restaurants. I highly recommend staying we really enjoyed our time there.

Furniture, antiques, friedly staff, good and nice details, nice amenities, the kitchen is for guest using free and the fridge is stuffed, afternoon sherry, homemade scones and cake.....

The room was to small for us

Uns hat besonders gefallen: Die zentrale und sehr ruhige Lage, das schöne Zimmer und das Gespräch mit anderen Gästen beim gemütlichen und reichhaltigem Frühstück. Die kostenlose Benutzung des PC und die Empfehlungsliste von guten Restaurants waren für uns sehr nützlich. Natürlich freuten wir uns auch über das Gebäck, Tee, Kaffee und Sherry zur Nachmittags-Pause. Wir danken den stets hilfsbereiten Gastgebern Evan und Ron für unseren angenehmen Aufenthalt.

This guesthouse is simply outstanding. Beautifully appointed, fantastic location in a quiet leafy street very close and easy walking distance to downtown Vancouver. The service from the staff is outstanding they make you feel as if you are in a home away from home. Breakfast was of gourmet standards and the interaction with other guests and the staff made our stay a pleasure. Definitely and unreservedly recommend this guesthouse!

I felt welcomed and at home. My stay started with the communications I had with the owner about transit from the airport to the guest house and continued from there. West End Guest House was a perfect place to stay in the heart of downtown Vancouver yet remain home like and friendly.

朝ご飯はフルーツやジュースを中心に充実、大満足。オーナーはフレンドリーで宿泊客とも朝の会話を楽しめま- した。といっても深くかかわるわけではなくいい距離でした。

部屋の空調調節ができず少し寒かった。また3Fなのにエレベーターがなく荷物を運ぶのが大変でした。

Accueil exceptionnel de la part des hôtes. B&b très bien situé. Excellent petit déjeuner. Belle décoration.

Chambre assez petite. Literie trop molle. Vieille maison qui craque.
