Rooms spacious, very clean, central to everything in town, staff excellent with a special mention of Joey.. 5 Star hotel with only 1 bar/restaurant, but in fairness to hotel I feel this is the standard of certain hotels in Vancouver. Just an observation only.

The location of the hotel is really good! We can park the car in the hotel (USD 21/day) and walk outside to enjoy window shopping. There're MAC, Northface, etc.The staff namely, Lucy is very helpful! She recommended many valuable advices eg. good restaurant for lunch(and give us free coupon to enjoy appetizer at Kingston restaurant which is delicious in 2 mins walk), good store to buy our winter coat (Northface) because we're going to Banff that's very cold at that period (Mid of Apr), etc. The hotel's facilities are great! Very comfortable. We have King delux room with sofa bed which is connecting with another queen size bed room so it's so suitable with big family like us (5adults and 1 baby). I love the heaven shower in the bathroom and the scent of their shampoo/lotion as well ^^ Very good Even we pay VERY premium price, it doesn't include Breakfast and there's no wifi free internet in the room. We have to buy appx USD 5/1hr or USD 14.99/24hrs. Or, we have to walk down to the lobby and ask for the internet code there that can stay up to 1hr..

My room was a small suite that had a separate bedroom. So quiet! The gym was open 24-hours. I had breakfast at the restaurant both mornings of my stay and staff very cheerfully made me a protein shake from the mix that I provided. I've never made this request before and was a little concerned about how it would be received. No problem! I will stay at this hotel when I return to Vancouver next month.

Room was spotless and luxurious(esp. the heated bathroom floor. Had a desk about to collapse, they came and removed it and took the kid's movie off the bill. Free starbucks coffee. Great location. Lot's of amenities within the block. There was a crack in the desk waiting to collapse. Kid's breakfast in room service menu not clear. Ended up ordering 4 kid's breakfasts by accident. Meant to order only 2. Thought the cereal was included and not a separate order. Didn't bother to read the bill in detail until after check out. Not a big deal(the kid's loved breakfast in bed) but an unpleasant end to the weekend upon arrival @ home.

This hotel was well apointed and the design of the room was phenomenal. We came to Vancouver for a business trip and chose the Westin Grand for the price and location. We were not disappointed. The room we upgraded to was a corner deluxe suite #1309. The rooms that end in 9 are for sure a corner suite with a balcony, as there are only 2 balconies per floor. The only problem was that the shower did not drain very well. The water pressure was great though. I would recommend trying to get a higher floor if you are concerned with getting a better view of the water.

The location is excellent for walking to restaurants, shopping and access to Yaletown, Granville Island, Stanley Park and Coal Harbor. The staff are top notch. The beds are comfortable. Only two elevators, one broke down while I was staying there.

We had a large spacious one bedroom corner suite with great views of the city, a balcony for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening and a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave etc.Location in the city centre was perfect on Robson street within walking distance of Chinatown,Canada Place, shopping and restaurants in Yaletown. The fact that there was no free wifi in the rooms. However free wifi is available to visitors as well as residents of Vancouver for one year from the public library just across the street from the Westin Grand.

Comfortable room, nice layout, good amenities (small fridge, sink, coffee maker) Only 2 elevators for a tall building; and then one elevator was taken out of service during the late afternoon for regular maintenance. Location is convenient to lots of different things, but is in a not so great area.

Well, the hotel was on a walking distance to the main attractions in downtown Vancouver. The hotel staff is very firendly and helpful. The room price we got from Booking.com was crazy. I did not believe that the price was right until I checked in. The food menu has limited options combaring to other hotels.

Location - the hotel was right off Robson street closed to good restaurants, shops, and train stations. I felt that Westin could offer more free service. I was surprised that they do not have a DVD player in the room. I was even more surprised that they charge for DVD player. Also they provide 15% discount on food service for starwood premium guest, but only for dinner.

The rooms were spacious and included kitchenette facilities. They had a very helpful and informative concierge. The hotel had a good heated outdoor pool. The first room we were allocated overlooked a noisy building sight. We had to ask to move after being woken up by loud drilling at 6 am! We had requested a quiet room !

One bedroom suite with queen size bed was small but contained everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Coud not believe that for these prices and this day and age there was no free wifi! The charge for it was huge. Would not recommend if on a business trip.
