Whistler Pinnacle Hotel  

My partner and I enjoyed the robes. We wore them while we discussed the various ways heteronormativity is conceptualized in socialist, queer and radical feminist theory. They were very soft and warm.

We stayed at this hotel July 8-10th. Staff at the front desk were very good. We had a coupon from Trip Advisor for free parking, and that was accepted with no problem. We parked our car in the underground secure lot, and didn't take it out again until we checked out. Having the Jacuzzi Tub in the room was fantastic, and we also had a balcony to sit out on, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room itself was very comfortable, with a full kitchen. I thought it was good value for a hotel in Whistler, and although it isn't right in the main village, it's an easy walk to everything, and nice and quiet at night.

We were looking forward to using the Hot Tub and Pool, but the Hot Tub was out of order. Pool was open, but the weather was still a bit too cool to use it. They kept the cover on it (to keep the heat in) which may have been confusing to some guests, as we never saw anyone using the pool. The coffee maker in the room is a small one,and they only leave you one pkg. Of coffe with a filter. Although we had our room cleaned and fresh towels for the next day, we didn't get another pkg. Of coffee for the morning. Small thing, but it was a bit of an inconvenience, because we only noticed that in the morning.

We were unable to use the jacuzzi tub we noticed that there was black sedement came out of the jets.

The only place where you can park is the hotel's parking, and they charge you $15 a night for that. So consider your room rate is $15 more than advertised...

Good size studio rooms with lots of facilities. Lobby staff very helpful. Good location in centre of Whistler.

No breakfast room. Car parking spaces rather small - and too many spaces reserved for staff rather than for guests.

We had a nice view of the mountain with the skiers coming down the slope. The location is close enough to the main village minus the noise if we had stayed in one of the buildings within the village itself. Nearby restaurants are very accessible if one is not in the mood to join the village crowds. It was a peaceful and relaxing stay. Bonus came in the form of a room upgrade as well!

The staff were very helpful and really friendly, our room was a good size and very comfortable.

Everything was great.

- Friendly staff, - The spa bath in the room was fantastic, - Loved the gas fire place, - They gave us free parking because it was our wedding anniversary weekend, which we thought was very nice of them.

- The hot tub was not clean on the first night and was only 3/4 full. - The bathroom needed an update/renovation. -

Location was great as it was steps to the village, but slightly removed so you don't have as much of the noise. Also the bus pick up and drop off to go down to the mountain is right beside the hotel which was very nice. We liked the nice size of the hotel, the 2 person jacuzzi tub was great after a say on the slopes and the kitchen was very nice to have. In addition, on our last day we checked out and skiied, but left our stuff in storage at the hotel. It was nice that they have a change room and showers and even a hot tub that you could use afterwards to get ready before heading out.

The rooms were a little dated, but other than that we had no complaints.
