The location right in the heart of the village.
Our suite was separated from the office building as was our parking space. It was very confusing and poorly explained by the staff.
The price was outlandish. They rape you for parking (on top of your room bill!!!)
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They have video that shows where the parking arcade at the next building is and this was very helpful, as well. The price was reasonable for Whistler on a weekend night.
location, proximity to village stroll, underground parking, room layout and contents
there were a number of dark long hairs in the bedding and towels. Room needs a makeover, definitely showing signs of age and lack of maintenance. Toilet was loose to the floor
Proximity to amenities, pool, sauna.
Only one lift and inter room noise
very polite and helpful staff.
How the room came with a murphy bed.
That it was available.
We found dirty socks in one of the beds. The walls were thin so we woke up when the guest above us woke up. Parking was ridiculous at this location. They have photocopied maps to hand out aS the parkade is difficult for every guest to find. Stay somewhere else in Whistler.
It's was clean and in a great location and was a great value.
The furnishings were a little outdated but the room was cozy. Paying 18 dollars a night for parking when we didn't go near our car for the whole time we were in Whistler. Also the amont of available parking.
The location is super convenient room was clean and roomy. Price was good
The policy of no checkin before 4pm. Pretty rigid. Room didn't look like internet photos
Very cool loft suite. Awesome location.
The bed didn't even have a fitted sheet. It kept slipping in the night. The cleanliness of the place was questionable at best.
Awesome room with beds in loft. Full kitchen. Clean, quiet.
Not enough parking and lot very difficult to navigate.
Good location,kitchenette in room
Hot to sleep,ac would of been nice
That we received a free upgrade to a loft suite.
the layout of the loft - it was very pretty. The bedding was very nice as well-
the fact that the bathroom was so far away from the bedroom. My husband hit his head on the metal rack in the bathtub- he was not happy about that.
The staff at the front desk are very unfriendly and unprofessional we had a terrible experience checking in The whole place is very basic and in need of a make over
We called 1/2 before arriving to be sure we could check in smoothly. When we arrived we were told our room was not ready and that we had to leave our bags in the car in the underground parking. We left our number and we were called an hour later told our room was ready. We were given a room and when we walked into it was a disaster. The mess and smell was aweful. We asked the maid coming back in from her break what happened and she told us to wait outside the room for thirty to fourty-five minutes to finish cleaning it. Instead we went to front desk and asked for a different room. We were only there for one night so all of this wasted a lot of our time!
Great value. Great location.
Room location was a walk out to the pool and the full kitchen was a nice surprise.
That we had to leave the next day. We wish we could have stayed longer.
good location and friendly staff
Good location. Staff was friendly but unable to do anything much to help as hotel was mostly booked.
What didn't I like, well for starters... The people next door who kept yelling and screaming all day and night... Next, from the same room, the stark naked guy standing in the hallway at the doorway to our room when my husband opened the door to ask them to keep it down as they had been yelling and screaming all night and were doing it again at dinner time the next day. I was eating my dinner when I was treated to the lovely sight of an Asian man with his pants pulled down to his ankles standing in our doorway while his friends laughed and one other began to tug at the top of his own pants... I'm assuming he was going to strip as well... They were drunk, laughing and yelling loudly. I had a daughter with me and I didn't consider that very nice to see in a supposedly respectable hotel. The temperature on the long weekend was 33 feels like 35 or 36 degrees. The air conditioning did not work in our suite. We told the management, they offered us the exact same room overlooking the very crowded and noisy pool area which smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. I am very allergic so this was not suitable for myself or my son and this was all they had available. I also didn't want this room as I knew this was not the room I had booked online. The staff did not seem concerned that someone had been smoking a lot, obviously, in their non smoking rooms. I declined the room as such. A person came to inspect the air conditioner when my son was in the room and was told he didn't know why it wasn't working and didn't know how to fix it. Later another lady came up to inquire if our air conditioning was working. We told her no, it wasn't... she mumbled something like 'gee that's too bad' 'sorry' said she didn't know what to do about it and left. No help at all. She also had brought a small fan for our use. They sent us a small fan with which we were supposed to be able to fan the extremely hot air around the room.
It was so near the centre of town, which was convenient. The staff I found not unhelpful, but the friendliness and expression their faces could be more 'open' and warm.
The building and the room we were in is "very tired" and in need of renewal. The cleanliness of the common areas was very lacking.
Underground Parking is limited
Bill not properly itemized. $18.00 parking per day per car! No free wifi Reservation lost for the day requested. Because of reservation mix up, were told we had to pack up all of our belongings ourselves to move to another room. No offer of help. When I called to question the bill, I was told "Yes, I can understand why you are confused". Have stayed in Whistler before, this was very unpleasant.
