We loved how cozy and quaint the room was and the housekeeper came and cleaned everyday. If we asked for them to clean around a certain time when we were gone, they always did. Whistler is beautiful and we really got to appreciate it!
The location is great for the price.
Room are small, stairway is step and cumbersome, ( if your older don't get a loft room). Hallway light didn't work, and room wasn't very clean upon arrival. Front desk wasn't very friendly and check in was at 4 pm. The hot tub was out of service, on not on site.
wifi too expensive
2 min walk to gondolas. All night poutine in front of building, very nice view on village stroll side. The wood burning fireplace and lofts make this hotel a perfect place to take your love life to the next lift. The skiing helps too ;)
Our bathroom fan don't work.
- Loft bedroom - Wood burning fireplace - Patio - Kitchenette - Location - Very comfortable bed
- Awkward location of rooms on the floor - Too many stairs, especially when carrying luggage
Location was great
The bed was horrible. I would never stay again. When I woke up I couldn't even move my back was so sore.
Manager (Joe) Cleanliness Location Kitchen Open fire place Pool and hot tube (shame they are in a different location) Bathroom HUGE shower
Having to walk to pool across in other hotel
The staff were friendly and helpful
The bed was lumpy, it is quite noisy and extremely hot. We couldn't put the fan on without having the light on. The air conditioning unit was very noisy. All in all a bad couple of nights sleep.
Loft layout very poor, stairs very steep, closet halfway up the stairs? Would not recommend.
very dirty room, was not cleaned and uncomfortable sleep (lumpy hard pillows)
Walk out the door and you are in Whistle Villiage....
Location was great, the room was clean, staff was great, room cozy and fun layout. We lived it.
We had to ask for soap and toilet paper but not a huge problem.
Good location. Price ok.
Expensive parking. Pay for WiFi. No breakfast. Difficult to find.
Location excellent, love the hand soap and lotion. Great staff helpful
Dirty dirty dirty! Found shoe and underwear in my room, dust and dead bugs everywhere!
We were extrely disappointed the moment we arrived. It was difficult to find the check in location. And it began there. Our room was not what we expected. The fan light was an issue al night as it was going on and off on its own. Our patio door didn't open. Our bathroom toilet wasn't stable, the fan didn't Work, we had no I've unless we went out and bought some. Overall we were quite unhappy.
Room was great and I really liked having a balcony.
A bit noisy outside late at night.
Great location, loft rooms we kind of neat, close to everything.
Lots of stairs even to get to and from you room from the elevator, this is the design of the building with the loft suites I guess. Over all very nice.
location/ kitchen area/fireplace
Carpeting in hallway made the whole place feel old and not so clean.
I am not normally one to write reviews however, in this case I found that reading reviews for the executive upon arrival were misleading. There are several poor reviews on this hotel but now I have come to realize there a two sides to the hotel, village and mountain side. I am going to assume that the majority of the negative reviews are based off of the mountain side. We stayed on the village side - location is excellent close to everything extremely central! Our unit looked like it had been renovated lately definitely not "high end" but enough to make you feel good! The kitchenette is perfect for an "at home" breakfast in the morning, the living room was good for four adults to hangout in after everything closed. I will not review the bed and pillows in the loft due to the fact that it is not fair because nothing is as good as the comfort of your own bed.
No Free Wi Fi...No exhaust or fan inside the bathroom....not a handicap friendly bathroom (no grab bars considering the shower floor is too slippery when wet.
Really central location
Disappointed at having to pay for wifi and parking
Unit is smelly. With lots of dog hairs on carpet and water is leaking on the floor from bathtub faucet.
Being able to walk out the front door are be in the atmosphere of a Whistler Villiage. Staff very helpful. Also good to park right under the hotel, but it did come at a cost.
The cost of the car parking; almost $30 per day.
Location was great. Bed was comfortable. Nice little kitchen. Staff was pleasant. Parking convenient ($24.00).
Awkward bathroom shape made closing the door difficult. Noisy air conditioner.
