“ Wonderful large room, complete with microwave, fridge and all cutlary and crockery. Very comfortable bed, and extremely quiet. Hosts were very welcoming, offering maps, directions and suggestions for eating. Wifi worked very well and was appreciated. All this for a very affordable price! ”

We stayed for 4 nights at Wild Edge Lodge in june 2012 (as part of a three and a half week roadtrip through the western part of Canada) had a great time with Cameron and Laura, the owners of the lodge. We were with a party of 4 and had more than enough space: 2 bedrooms, kitchen, sittingroom etc, a complete appartment in a very nice part of the little town of Ucluelet, which happens to be a really nice and rustique little town. A must see! Cameron also runs a boatbussiness: whalewatching, fishing and Islandstour. We did 2 six hour boattrips and saw a lot of Barkley Sound with its sealions, bald eagles, whales and its huge amount of beautifull islands, and in the mean time, we heard all the stories about the history and the people. We can wholeheartedly say that when you need a place to stay on the westcoast of Vancouver Island, this is the place to go! Paul Bik, Holland

Die Gastgeberfamilie war äusserst freundlich. Ausserdem waren die Zimmer super mit Küchenutensilien ausgestattet und das Badezimmer war geräumig.
