The house is quite new, and designed specifically for a B&B. The common area is very nice. Our host and fellow guests were interesting and pleasant. Mark prepared an excellent gourmet candied salmon breakfast. The bed in our suite was incredibly comfortable.

The host Marc and his wife Mirja were most welcoming, the accommodation was superb especially as they designed it themselves and Marc did a lot of the work in building it, the garden was gorgeous and the surroundings were lovely. The breakfast was freshly prepared for each guest and was very very good. We are a mature couple and we were travelling with one other and we would all recommend it without question

The house is smartly designed with beautifully appointed rooms. Large open kitchen/dining area provides great opportunity for conversation with other guests and the earnest host. Breakfast is pretty much by request; it was delicious both days we stayed. Hot tub provides a great spot to relax or to gaze at the stars in a sky undiminished by light pollution. Great place to catch a glimpse of local wildlife too. Added bonus of an art gallery on the property.

It was bit off the beaten track; no walking to anywhere, a vehicle is definitely required. Road traffic light though I wouldn't care to walk or bike on it myself.

Beautiful facility, hot tub outside, gardens, bathroom shower and jet tub, breakfast, very welcoming host.

The humming of the pulp mill across the river, not that bad, but a constant. However, this is still the best place to stay in Castlegar.

Beautiful home and beautiful surroundings. The bed is very luxurious and the shower is awesome: lots of options with many water spouts. Excellent healthy and tasty breakfast. The host is very helpful and accomodating. The dog is also very friendly, but will only make an appearance if you request it. Nice to walk in the area and along the river, which is across the street from the house. Some reviewers have complained about the pulp & paper mill across the river from the house. It is there, but it is not a problem. Due to upgrades to the plant, there is no smell. You cannot hear it from inside the house. When outside, you can hear it in the background. To give you an idea of how loud it is, if you are sitting on the balcony and a car drives by the house, the car will drown out the sound of the mill. The trees along the lake hide most of the mill, depending on your viewing angle.

Everything! Host and Hostess were the most gracious, service oriented, fun folks ever! The B&B is well appointed and comfortable - able to make it our home away from home; food was tremendous and beautifully presented; the hot tub was wonderful - there is nothing bad to say!!

We were on a ski vacation so there was a bit of a lack of places to hang our coats, gloves, long underwear etc to be sure it was dry, but we understand this issue will be solved immediately! Loved the place and everything about it!
