Was very disappointed with our stay at LHotel. First impression’s were good. Big spacious room. Went downhill from there… • “short curly black hairs” on the towels • broken tv • no mini bar • and to top it off the toilet overflowed flooding the bathroom (number 1’s only thank goodness) • upon checkout there was just a casual sorry your stay wasn’t what you expected. We have stayed at a few hotels in this area that were fabulous. I do not recommend LHotel. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Great staff, great location, good breakfast with freshly cut fruit & croissants, free wifi, nice bar, comfortable rooms (without a nice view, though; ours was that of a parking lot). Rather expensive, little variation in breakfast (only hard-boiled eggs), mediocre coffee, view from room (parking lot)

All the staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful throughout our stay. We were upgraded to a large and impressive suite. Loved the hotel's extensive art collection and comfortable bar/lounge area. The hotel's in an ideal location in Old Montreal - minutes away from lots of good restaurants, art galleries and shops. The knowledgeable staff recommended and booked some great places for us to eat. A Brazilian jazz trio performed in the lounge early evening on Friday and Saturday, which added to the already warm atmosphere. Appreciated the free wi-fi. Would return to this hotel without hesitation.

Location. Staff was very friendly, though not entirely competent. Bathroom sink was clogged. Told front desk the first night, it was never fixed. Asked for directions to a particular location. The front desk gave the wrong directions, sending us on the metro in the entirely wrong direction. Had to ask someone on the street to help us.

L'Hotel was a very chic boutique hotel. It is in Old Montreal and is a historic building. However, the decor and amazing art collection makes it feel so sophisticated. It was quiet and comfortable and in a fantastic location. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

The friendly and accommodating staff were a treasure. We also loved the display of original contemporary art throughout the hotel. It was truly magnificent to wander the hotel to view lithographs, pastels, oils & sculpture from such masters as Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein to name a few. We can't wait to return to Montreal just to renew our acquaintence with the best hotel we've ever had a pleasure to experience.

This trip was my first visit to Quebe.. (We live in Newfoundland) I had just retired after 30 years service at my job and this trip was a gift from my husband. I absolutely loved Montreal especially Old Montreal and I was astonished at how close LHotel was to all things of interest to us. I've told my husband that of the top 3 things that was my favorite of the entire holiday, one of them was LHotel. I loved our room, it was so large and beautiful. All the staff were wonderful. I will definitely recommend it to all my family and friends and tell them that it's the most interesting, fun and classy hotel I've ever stayed in.

I liked its small nature in a great location. I really liked the art theme and overall Hotel decor. I liked the rooms for the comfortable beds and high ceilings. I really liked that the staff cared....even passionate. Did not eat there. Got stuck in the elevator for a minute or so on thr first floor when the doors wouldn't open. Had to press button and go up again. No big deal and I think they were addressing it.

We really liked the ambiance and old style as well as the close location to Old Montreal. We booked for 4 nights and we were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous especially when we had requests. We love how quiet and relaxing the hotel was as well. Our shower was not nice at all. We didn't have very good water pressure and our shower head kept falling off the holder so a shower was very difficult to have. The soaker tub made up for the lack of shower. We would have enjoyed having a coffee maker in our room and our bed was a little hard. They were small things that didn't make a big difference in our stay though.

The LHotel exceeded our expectations and was a fantastic hotel to stay at in Montreal. There was tons of beautiful art work, the bar was comfortable and well serviced, and the rooms were immaculate and grand. I highly recommend a stay here for one or multiple nights. Location was good too, right around the corner from Notre Dame.
