Friendly staff. Quiet place. Certainly more romantic than what I expected. A bit far from the downtown. Little pricy for the season. No slippers in tje rooms. The coffee machine and the coffee packages are weird. Difficult to open the package without spilling its contents.

LHotel was exceptional in all regards. Friendly, helpful staff. Great facilities in an excellent location. Breakfast was great. Whatever we needed was handled by the staff. One of the nicest hotels where we have stayed anywhere. We would stay here again next time we come to Montreal.

Very stylish interieur, room was spacy, free internet access, business- center with option for free printing During my 4 day in the hotel the elevator was unter construction, the room was relatively dark & needed light all day, curtains could not be opened completely, very poor sound insulation, exremely limited breakfast (no scrumbled eggs / bacon / sausage / unsweetened yoghurt). When I was asking if scrambeled eggs are available the reply was: "No, the breakfast is as it is!"

The hotel is full of pop art! You could spend hours just checking the art out. It is a very cozy and friendly hotel. We were very impressed with how quiet it was. A great sleep for sure.

Almost everything. It is a bargain for the price I paid Elevator was out of order so I had to go by stairs 4 floors. But I suppose the price offered in part is because of it, so I do not complain

The art work was a lovely feature, felt like you were staying in a real enthusiasts home rather than a modern hotel. Room was spacious, very clean and the staff were very friendly. Location is great as it is next door to Notre Dame and the metro is a three minute walk away. The immediate area does get quiet after rush hour which although this is a positive in terms of no traffic noise at night it also means that the streets are quiet for walking.

L'Hotel is lovely and the staff are very accomodating. The elevator is awaiting replacement, so lots of stair climbing. This wasn't a big issue for us, but could be for others and so I think people should be informed.

The room is high with modern design. Decoration is fantastic and comfortable! Rate is really good with such a nice location. Breakfast is simple and nice. No elevator in hotel. We have to carry all our heavy luggage with stairs. Parking is not convenience on the street. The hotel parking rate $22 is high. But we found an underground parking area with $11 max per day just one block behind.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the accommodations were comfortable. We booked the "Superior Queen" (I believe that's actually the cheapest one) and when we got there, we were upgraded to a King Suite that was absolutely gorgeous. The art is a really nice touch. We were in the Robert Motherwell Suite, which meant that all of the art was by Motherwell. A cold breakfast was included and it was pretty good - nothing out of the ordinary, but the croissants were really nice. The location is also fabulous. We stayed there, because we were going to a concert at the Bell Centre, which we didn't realize was only about a 10-15 minute walk. We also went to dinner at Toque the next night, which was less than 5 minutes away. If you like to walk, the LHotel is really great for exploring Old Montreal as well as downtown. There are also metro stops nearby, although we didn't venture far enough across Montreal to need them. It would have been nice to have free parking available, but it was only $22/day for valet service with free in and out. The elevator was out of service, but that's probably why we were upgraded to a king suite. I didn't mind walking up to the 4th floor for such a nice room.
