Booked into a suite and enjoyed the space. Well positioned for conference in Palais de Congres and underground access. Also close to old town and tended to walk to most places. Many restaurants of varying prices nearby.
Found the bathroom shower a bit basic. Breakfast was continental only and you eat out at other times. There is no area to sit outside.
We stayed in Andy Warhol suit and we fell in love with it. The location is excellent and breakfast was good.
The staff in front desk was very pretty looking, kind but not very knowledgable. They we like
Excellent buffet continental breakfast, quietness, helpful staff, central position.
High-ceilinged rooms are rather dark (at least #304). Bed linen getting a little thin. Variable Wifi speed but generally slow.
Location and friendliness of staff
The artwork and attention to detail makes this a far more interesting place to stay than in one of the usual chain hotels with their cookie-cutter blandness.
Water pressure in the showers could be stepped up a bit, but this is only a minor thing. There was nothing I would say I "didn't like" about it.
The location, the delicious croissants served at the breakfast. The staff, lead by general manager, Alejandro, could not have been more attentive and friendly. We strongly recommend this hotel!
Great location to get around. Close to everything. Beautiful artwork. Large comfortable room with wi-fi. We had breakfast included. Breads, meats, cheeses, cereal. Plenty of choices. Very nice staff.
Not enough light in the bathroom. A bit of a glitch with the checkout- wrong bill given to us but we straightened it out. No restaurant in hotel but plenty in neighborhood.
Atmosphere was fantastic! Art work, intimate lobby, comfortable to sit and relax. Very quiet for sleeping, breakfast was included and was very good. Staff of young people who were tremendously welcoming, friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed this hotel!
Bathrooms were tastefully decorated but had insufficient shelving for cosmetics and other toiletries. Really need a small shelving unit or something to put this stuff on.
Friendly staff. Changed our room when first one wasn't suitable. Lovely artwork around and plants around the hotel.
Access for invalids very poor
location décor room size furniture
Large rooms, which were extremely comfortable and the huge range of artwork!
The hotel was a perfect location for walking to many places. The rooms were fantastic. The staff go out of their way to help you at every turn. I would return again with pleasure.
Not a thing!
A very gracious staff, fantastic famous artwork, fabulous location, and wonderful breakfast. We had a great time, even with little kids in a high-class hotel.
TV had issues. Couldn't turn off/on or change channel for a while; turned out needed to be unplugged to fix the situation. Wifi slow. But these issues pale in relation to how great the hotel was.
Pretty much everything. All the staff looked to enjoy working here & couldn't be more helpful when needed. Great rooms finished to a very good quality.
Would have liked a cooked breakfast alternative to the continental served, but that is my personal preference & not a criticism of the hotel.
Location was excellent and within easy reach of sites to see. Breakfast was good plenty to eat, however it would be nice if the eggs were heated. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Staff very helpful.
I found the mattress on the bed soft so did not have great sleep.
friendly staff quiet interesting decor the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever sleep in computer available for use location was fantastic as I needed to use the Metro to get to Parc Jean Drapeau breakfast was fresh and coffee great refrigerator in room came in handy as hotel did not have a restaurant
choice of movies was poor software on TV was really slow breakfast though delicious was the same every day; would have been nicer if had some variety from day to day
The staff were amazing, the room was massive and well maintained and you really can't beat the location.
Location was perfect for all activities and restaurants
Had to pay for parking
Location was wonderful - only steps away from Notre Dame and 'Old Montreal'. Room was quiet at night.
It's disconcerting when the electronic key doesn't work; and necessitates another trek to the front desk, luggage in tow, when all that's needed is that room, and that bed, after a long day's journey. Also, the TV would not turn on! Each day a staff person had to come to the room; eventually it was decided that the hotel electronic 'upgrade' malfunctioned in my room. It meant keeping the TV on at all times, or being unable to get internet access and the TV to turn on.
Coffee server available Quality of breakfast especially bread and service
Supply of shampoo renew
Wander all four floors and savor the gems of pop art masters. Truly like visiting your own private art museum. Comfy beds. Nice amenities too.
For such a lovely high end place I was surprised the water pressure wasn't better. And this not being the US of A ice was not available unless you asked. But they would happily scoop you some at the bar.
- Location (Vieux Montreal) - boutique hotel (an interesting combination of antiques and art-nouveau) - very cozy and spacious rooms - helpful staff
Lots of money for a small Hotel. Was in walking distance to city center.
Location. Rooms. Décor. Really a treat.
Front desk staff should know a bit more about the area - restaurants, etc.
