Great location, eclectic arty collection.
Shower wasn't working properly. Wayer too hot or too cold
We liked everything about this hotel. It is a discreet boutique hotel in the heart of the old city. Very unpretentious foyer, but stunning sculptures and paintings throughout make this place one to remember. We booked a suite as got a great deal on a last minute website. The rooms were huge and very luxurious. A nice touch were the scrumptious macaroons left as a welcome gift. We would definitely come back here.
location, comfort of bed, cleanliness, size of room, decor in lobby, friendly staff
Location is close to many good restaurants and bars I am a fan of modern art and this place is like a museum Staff was very kind and accommodating.
Bathroom, although fully functional, needs renovation.
design and warmness feeling.
very poor breakfast
Very spacious rooms with high ceilings.
We were in room 304 and there was hardly any water pressure.
To say that they have a "gym" is a bit of a stretch.....
Hotel atmosphere and location. Excellent rooms, decorated with amazing paintings. Walking distance from railway station, metro and in the heart of Old Montreal.
Coffee maker needs instructions.
Light continental breakfast included in our room rate; very friendly and helpful staff of the hotel; very nicely decorated for Christmas; very interesting collection of artwork throughout the hotel; very near to major attractions; and lots of restaurant choices nearby.
No lunches or dinners served within the hotel dining room; and room service comes from outside local restaurants.
Can't think of any. Perhaps enhance the wifi signal to every room.
We liked the location, attentive staff, delicious breakfasts, quiet room even though it was holiday time and the cleanliness.
Great location! Rooms were big and service was impeccable!
Wifi was a little iffy, cable tv was service was inconsistent.
location is close to everything; staffs are friendly; building is historical
Steps to carry the suitcase up; poor wifi, so slow that it was useless
location near old port friendly staff nice room comfort and amenities FAST internet interesting art displays
absence of restaurant
I was welcomed very warmly, and felt generally at ease in this hotel. It is generally clean, and since I had a one week conference in the "palais des congrès" (Montreal's conference center) the location was just excellent. Also, the staff was generally very friendly.
- I was there for work, which I guess is the case for some of the guests since the hotel is so close to the congress center - yet the internet was slow and unstable - The carpet on the floor looks a bit old, room was nice enough, although not as on the picture - Personal friendly, but sometimes a bit helpless - Breakfast would cost 15 Dollars extra per breakfast?
Colourful, art work, warm, great place to relax and enjoy the sitting and bar area Great Architecture, high ceilings, rooms comfortable, furnishings were nice staff very helpful
Expecting better breakfast options but service was excellent none the less
Everything went smooth
Very comfortable room with convenient location to old Montreal, shopping, and restaurants.
Average front desk staff at best. Even though it is $22.00 per day to valet park it is worth it not to deal with the confusing and $3.00 per hour street parking meters. The staff wasn't helpful regarding the signage and didn't seem to care. When we suggested a handout to explain the signs which are in French, they said " They change too often." HUH?!
Would have liked a little more light in the room. That's all.
Perfect location, close to Rue St Paul, metro, galleries, excellent restaurants nearby.
Room maid failed to bring clean glasses and cups, front desk never responded to repeated requests for those items. This is a small thing, perhaps, but irritating. Very noisy on 4th floor on Friday night, yelling, loud music.
Location Artwork Bed
Wifi was very unstable - if I was there on business and had work to do it would have been annoying.
If you stay anywhere in Montreal, stay here. We loved every second of our stay, from the room with charm to the lobby with cool music and helpful staff. Location is perfect, being a stones throw from some excellent places to eat. I'd return in a heartbeat.
The little lounge bar next door Spirit house and the hotel was a very comfortable settling beautiful architecture on the outside
