The whole experience was excellent. From the time we walked in and were greeted at the front desk to booking out was a very nice experience. Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Montreal

Very clean, very friendly/helpful staff

Small bed, cheaply furnished room, staff had great attitude and intentions but struggled some with specifics

The building is lovely and each floor and room is filled with contemporary art work. The staff were all very pleasant and extremely helpful and friendly. We were there with two other couples and all enjoyed our stay. We hope to return again to L'Hotel.

L'hotel was absolutely fabulous! The artwork in the rooms, hallways and lobby was incredible! We stayed in the Rauschenberg suite with about a half a dozen originals; I felt as if I were sleeping in an actual art gallery. The hotel staff was amazingly helpful; welacked for nothing. The location was within a 5 minute walk to all of what Old Montreal offers: top restaurants, fashion boutiques, tourist spots and small cafes. Downtown activities are less than a half hour walk away. L'hotel is a true gem and one of the best bargains in Montreal!

No real coffe in room and no water on the second day

Absolutely everything, staff was extremely professional and hospitable. Obviously they were chosen for their ability to make one feel comfortable and we felt as though we could approach anyone from housekeeping to manager and receive the same warm friendly response. Surrounded by priceless works of art, we felt very special however the cost of our stay was extremely reasonable for such a beautiful hotel.

Convenient location, near the city centre and public transport. Everyone from the staff was quite nice and helpful.

Don't leave anything fragile unprotected in the room while away. I left my guitar and it was damaged by the cleaner, who must have hit it with the vacuum cleaner or some sharp object. I didn't have a chance to ask her what happened and she didn't answer the note I'd left on the bed the next day.

Wonderful room and hotel. It was quite huge and clean. All the stuff were friendly and helpful. The location was also perfect for sightseeing. I'll def stay there when I visit Montreal again. Thank you!!

The great location, fabulous original art and excellent staff.

Chic, beautifully furnished and very spacious rooms. It is located in the heart of historic Old Montreal yet within easy walking distance of the city centre, a metro station and central train station. The look and feel is very much a cut above the bland corporate type of hotels. Classy and luxurious.

The soundproofing between my room and the next room was not great & I could hear when the folks next door were having a phone conversation (this is an old converted bulding so not an entirely unexpected issue). Also, slightly odd arrangement with the in-room beverages. 4 capsules (coffee x2/ tea/ hot chocolate) are provided free at the start of the stay but these are not replenished unless you pay $1 for each new capsule. These are slight niggles only and did not spol my stay in any way.
