Travel information

Arriving by car:
You can use three routes to reach Saas Almagell:
- via the Rhone Valley and the motorway Lausanne - Sion - Sierre - Visp - Stalden - Saas Grund
- via the Lötschberg tunnel (using the car transport facility) Bern - Kandersteg - Goppenstein - Visp - Stalden - Saas Grund
- from eastern and central Switzerland, using the car transport facility through the Furka tunnel (Realp - Oberwald) or via the Furka Pass in summer.

Arriving by train:
You can reach Saas Almagell via the same routes:
- via the Rhone Valley to Visp using the Swiss Federal Railway
- via the Lötschberg tunnel using the BLS Railways to Visp
- from eastern and central Switzerland using the Furka Oberalp Railway to Brig.

From Visp:
Hourly connections by PostBus until 21:00.

Hand in your luggage at your local railway station, and on arrival retrieve it from the PostBus station.
