Hotel Adler    

Hotel Adler is close to the train station, the staff is excellent and friendly, the local neighborhood has many restaurants, the included breakfast was very good. They let us check in at 11 am upon arrival after flying overnight.

The hotel was well situated and we walked everywhere. The train station, boats, trams, shopping, restaurants and sight seeing were all easily accessible. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was spotless. We also enjoyed the fondu at the restaurant. We stayed at Hotel Adler for a week and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Would have preferred a solid bathroom door as when you turn on the light in the night it lights up the whole room. Suggest putting a film on the door for added privacy and light control.

Nice room, nice breakfast, excellent location.

Requested to stay one night of a two night reservation and was told nothing could be done, effectively referred back to booking.com. When checking out early on Friday at 16:00, was then informed that had I notified staff earlier, the room could have been resold.

The hotel was excellent! The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were small, but cozy, and the location was amazing. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Zurich.

The hotel was comfortable, friendly, clean and had a great breakfast (where we also had dinner). Best towels we had in Switzerland.

Our room (116) was above the kitchen and we could hear activity from below. Also, the hotel is located in an area where there is lots of activity at night so it could be noisy if the windows are open.

The church bells every 15 minutes right through the night. Ughh! We stayed in room 408 on the top floor so maybe other rooms are less noisy.

It is situated in the old part of Zurich and is very central. Easy access to everything. Very clean and the staff were extremely helpful.

Very noise on a Saturday night as it is situated amongst bars and restaurants. The bed was very small and the duvet was the exact size of the bed. This made it rather difficult for two people to share - especially in winter leaving one person freezing.

Hotel Adler was small enough to be friendly and personal but big enough to provide all the facilities you need from a city centre hotel. The room was warm and comfortable - you heard absolutely nothing from the street outside - and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I needed an adaptor for my phone charger - they provided one. I needed an extra pillow - they provided one. I needed an extra large coffee with my breakfast - it was there with a smile. Really lovely hotel.

Slight smell of cheese in the breakfast room but that really couldn't be helped - and you did get used to it!

Very hard to get to by car - night staff upon checkin was not helpful. Couldn't even get 1 extra pillow. Very noisy - very hard to sleep so noisy and room temperature control was non existent. Very very hot and if u opened the window the room filled with smoke from bar below and noise was even worse!!

For me and my family, it was wonderful.. A bit priceywhat, but worth every penny. Besides, what isn't costly in switzerland! As an American you had be ready for this fact and enjoy the moment---or just don't go!
