A strange, low-frequency noise, which prevented me from sleeping. |

The hotel was in a great location, near the train station and walking distance to the lake. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff were helpful. This was a very nice place to stay. Breakfast was terribly overpriced. But there are many cafes within a short distance from the hotel. |

Good value for money considering the city. Parking, wifi access. Nice staff. Old and sad interior, both for the room or public areas. No restaurant and bar. I traveled a lot to many hotels, but I guess 6 euro for a mini-bar beer is exagerated (most expensive I can remember). |

The lobby looked nice There were only feather pillows available, the staff were not helpful when asked for an extra blanket, the price for furnishings was extremely high and we did not feel this was a 4 star hotel at all. |

The hotel has a good location in a quiet environment. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The bed matress was too soft. I was unable to plug my laptop to the power. The breakfast was to expensive for what was offered, it should be included in the room price. |

Strategic location, very close to train & metro station. Body shampoo provided in pack is inconvenient and 1 pack for a day is not enough. Should provide in small bottle instead. |

convenient location We paid extra for a kitchen, which consisted of a 2-ring electric cooker, a fridge and a kettle. If we used the kettle and the cooker at the same time the electricity fused. When this happened early in the morning, the staff didn't know what to do, except wait for someone else to come on duty.A verry minimalist collection of cooking and eating things. No corkscrew or tin opener. I don't feel that it was fair to call this a kitchen. |

Nice design, not to everybody's taste maybe but I didn't mind it. Very comfortable beds, blankets, lots of space, AC but you are able to open a window. The fridge (minibar) was not working in our room; since we arrived early evening, we were told at the reception that there is nobody to fix it... they weren't able to exchange it either. They did agree to store our food in their kitchen fridge. Since there are no balconies in rooms, would be great if there was some sort of terrace downstairs where one could have a coffee or just relax. Otherwise, you go out and get straight to the parking lot. |

The hotel located near railway station and is very easy to find. It is also very convenient to take subway to ouchy. It is also very good that the hotel is not noisy. The room is relatively a little bit small. |

the reception did not have our reservation and argued about it even when we gave a confirmation number, but all was sorted OK next morning, your reservation was sent by fax not internet and the night shift guy did not look at the fax machine. |

Very helpful staff; great location for the new Lausanne metro. Easy access to the rest of the city; very modern facilities; parking was included at no cost. Breakfast was not included and the breakfast price was steep. |

We had a very good stay at the Agora. The room rate was reasonable. The hotel is very easily accessible from the train station and walking distance to many areas. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast because we felt is was much too expensive. The breakfast seemed expensive compared to neighbouring restaurants. |

A comfortable, quiet room with a mini-bar and hot water pot, ultra-modern decoration. A lending "library" of assorted books and DVDs in the lobby is a nice touch, and the location is wonderful for anyone coming by train. There was no clock in the room, and no dishes or utensils for the kitchenette area, but these are minor considerations. We did not eat the breakfast buffet, which seemed expensive. |
