The hotel is only 10 mins walk from the main station which is convenient, if one has only hand baggage. There does not seem to be any disabled access to the hotel, although there is only two short sets of steps to the front door. The hotel is very family friendly with a large sitting room with loads of books and a play area for young childern. The rooms are spacious, well fitted out and spotlessely clean and kept so. The staff are multilingual and friendly. A great place for a quiet escape from the rat race in the seasonal Autumn or the autumn of one's life.

Pleasant outlook, fresh flowers in public areas, hot shower, clean room. Breakfast fresh and generous. Advertised close to rs, but much too far from railway station to walk with luggage, and then to carry them up stairs into the hotel reception. Room small, and wifi intermittent in room.

All staff was very polite and efficient, although we booked quite late we got a nice room with a big bathroom (for a change). If of interest for somebody, the bathroom had very good facilities for handicapped. Although not directly on Lake Maggiore shore, the hotel is just few minutes walk from fancy Muralto riva. Breakfast buffet was rich and with some nice touches not seen otherwise, like rice in milk.

Great hotel, where I stayed because it is very close to where my parents live. Locarno is a lovely place to come for a long weekend, and the Camelia is a good base from which to explore. The single room that I had was a bit on the small side, though I did have a balcony and view of the lake which made up for it. It was also very hot, because of the lack of a breeze through the room, but I was given a fan, which helped.

Hotel is quitely cosy. Room services was perfect. Breackfast is with variouse choices. Good location, near from downtown.I stayed in single room. Size of the roon is small, but cosy , with own balcony. Size of the roon is small

Proche du lac et de la ville de locarno, endroit agrépable , beau jardin les chambres avec balcon présentent un avantage, le petit déjeûner est très copieux, le personnel de service fait tout pour que l'on soit bien La chambre réservée ètait froide et sans chauffage, aimablement la réceptioniste nous a proposé une autre chambre mieux située, il reste un problème de chauffage à cette saison, les nuits sont froides

Eigentlich wahren wir zu spät, ca. 20:00, trotzdem hat uns die Küche noch ein feines Menü zubereitet. Toll fanden wir auch die Schuhputzmaschine im Treppenhaus. Wir haben uns sehr amüsiert. Besitzer und Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und angenehm. Dusche und WC in Zimmer 310 ist klein.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist zwar einfach eingerichtet dafür war alles so herrlich unkompliziert. Das hat mir gefallen.

Sehr freundliche Angestellte.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber.Sehr gutes Frühstück. Leider war es in unserem Zimmer sehr "ringhörig".Man hatte das Gefühl der Nachbar schnarche im eigenen Bett.Dusche und Wc sehr klein.

Gefallen hat mir das Haus selber, die Bauweise, die Balkone. Die Nähe zum Seeufer.Die Pflanzen und Blumen rundherum und auf dem Frühstückstisch. Das feine Frühstücksbuffet. Der freundliche Empfang. Ich habe die Strasse als sehr störend empfunden. So hatte ich keine Lust, auf den Balkon oder unten auf dem Gartenplatz zu sitzen. Die Einrichtung macht einen verstaubten Eindruck. Auch die Gäste sind mehrheitlich ewas alt.

Die Serviceleistungen waren sehr zufriedenstellend, alles Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Zimmer und übrigen Räumlichkeiten sind geschmackvoll und einladend eingerichtet. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm!

Reception ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Frühstück konnte an der frischen Luft genossen werden Als wir unser Zimmer beziehen wollten, lagen schon 2 Gepäckstücke auf dem Bett. Eine Mitarbeiterin meinte, die Reisenden hätten ein anderes Zimmer bekommen und ihr Gepäck noch nicht verlegt. Als ich dann duschen wollte merkte ich auch wieso: Das Bad hatte keine Tür. Auch wenn ich mit meinem Partner da war, war es uns unangenehm unser kleines Geschäft zu verrichten.
