Location - looking at rail tracks and made worse by the presence of a huge tower crane (for their new development) - price should have been reduced Hotel has a slightly has a gloomy feel Decor in corridors

We loved it.

A thoroughly pleasant and efficiently run Hotel, located very close walking distance from Zermatt Main Railway Station. Lovely superior room with jaccuzzi bath and sitting area. Well recommended for visiting Zermatt as also centrally located.-excellent buffet breakfast.

Breakfast was really good. Location is not so easy to find, but is very nice. Really two steps from station. Stuff was friendly. Lobby bar is very neat.

When asked for a spare pillow just answered that they are fully booked and no additional pillows available. Not even a try. Be aware that 0.33 bottle of water on the night table (with no signs) is 3 Fr. Hotel once might have been good 4*, but now is declining. Stuffed with 1980th equipment, cracked tiles in the bathroom and old dusty cupboards in the rooms. Definitely do not recommend. Choose something else for this price.

Very friendly staff. Tim was best host we had on our entire European tour. Made up for some rude waitresses at a nearby restaurant. The hotel is properly rated at four stars. There are nicer five star hotels if you want luxury but this one seemed to be the right hotel at the right price for Zermatt.

The hotel staff could not have been more welcoming and made our stay perfect. Our room faced The Matterhorn and added a special dimension to our stay.

The minute we were greeted warmly by the receptionist and entered our hotel room, I know I am going to write a fantastic review about this hotel. The male receptionist is very friendly and even offered to carry our luggage to our room. We were made to feel very welcomed the minute we stepped into the reception. This is by far the most beautiful and most well decorated hotel we have ever stayed in our ten days in Switzerland. The room, dining area, lounge area, in fact every corner of the hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Even the room key is very unique- it is the most antique and heaviest key I have ever carried. The jacuzzi and the room is very nice. Room is very clean. We are given a room on the first floor overlooking the Matterhorn. The breakfast is the best among all the hotels we stayed in Switzerland. There are fried bacon, eggs, a good assortment of unique tea, a variety a fresh fruit, all nicely cut, etc.. romantic background music and songs were aired during breakfast, nice lighting, nice decoration-very romantic indeed for breakfast. Everything is perfect.

Except there is no kettle jug provided in the room. However, there is a bottle of complimentary drinking water provided. Anyway, you can easily go down to the reception counter and they will happily fill a kettle of hot water for you.

jag anser inte att hotellet har en standard som motsvarar fyra stjärnor. Dyrt! Fotografierna av hotellet på nätet är inte representativa. Vi kände inte igen oss. Beskrivningen junior svit är inte korrekt enligt min uppfattning.

A qualidade de serviços e o conforto das acomodações atendem plenamente a expectativa daqueles que procuram o Alex Schlosshotel para se hospedar, o que na realidade define a qualidade do hotel, que não depende da categoria Luxo, nem do número de Estrelas com que é qualificado, mas do satisfação do hóspede em encontrar aquilo que o hotel divulga e que você espera encontrar (e as vezes se surpreende ), inclusive na relação custo x beneficio.

Encontramos tudo que esperávamos em termos de conforto e serviços, que atendem a proposta do hotel e a expectativa do hóspede.

Старий (зношений) інтер'єр, застарілий дизайн. Відсутність басейну (4 зірки, мав би бути!!!) Відсутність гарячих, традиційних напоїв в сауні (чай, трави...). Натомість, 2 графіни з холодною водою. Відсутність ресторану де можна пообідати та/або повечеряти (тільки сніданок).
