Hotel Alex  

The rooms were quite comfortable. Alex -- the little lift that dropped you off at the Torrent ski lift was very convenient. The breakfast was also quite good.

My husband and I used the spa facilities, but our kids and their partners/friends were turned off by the nudity. Perhaps the hotel could suggest that the more modest amongst us could wrap themselves in a towel when in the sauna or the steam room.

Very friendly English-speaking staff. The room was clean and the view was very nice. There are three sauna rooms in the basement, a wet one and two dry ones at different temperatures. Hours of operation run daily from 16:00 to 20:30. A large towel, a small towel, and a locker key can be borrowed at the front desk for free upon request. The hotel offers tickets to Burgerbad and Lindner Alpentherme at a discounted price. The breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:00 and has nothing extraordinary but does the job.

The TV was not working. All guests will be given a key card for use to open the front door after 22:00, but one might have to insert and reinsert the key card several times before the door actually opens.

The Wellness area

Buffet breakfast OK but really nothing more. Older but clean bath rooms, no easy sunbath chairs on balcony; I found too expensive for what it offered me . I would say that for this hotel 170,-SF instead of 210,-SF would be OK. I say this a a frequent business and private traveler around the globe.

Ganz klar die Wellness-Anlage...ist wirklich toll und gibt erholung pur. Der Ruheraum dürfte etwas mehr geheitz werden damit das verweilen noch angenehmer wäre :-) Ebenfalls ist der Alex-Express wirklich sehr sehr praktisch

1) Ruheraum im Spa dürfte bisschen wärmer sein 2) ebenfalls sind die Zimmer bisschen zu kalt, leider kann man die Heizung nicht individuell einstellen

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le spa et ses divans très confortables. Le buffet petit-déjeuner varié et bon. Hôtel bien situé par rapport aux pistes de ski et lift très pratique pour atteindre le départ du téléphérique. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Das Zimmer war zweckmässig und sauber eingerichtet. Das Frühstückbuffet grandios (mehr kann man sich kaum wünschen). Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage, um Wanderungen zu unternehmen oder die Warmwasser-Bäder von Leukerbad zu geniessen, sehr zentral und doch ruhig um Erholung zu finden.

Der Aufenthalt war wunderschön! Gemütlich, familiär, sehr freundlicher Empfang, stets gut gelauntes Personal, Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig.
