Newly renovated in 2010, the Hotel Marta offers high quality for a good price in the center of Zürich, a 5-minute walk from Zürich Main Station. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire building.
Score from 1139 reviews Very good
The family-run Hotel Arlette Beim Hauptbahnhof is only 200 yards from the Zurich Main Station and a 3-minute walk from the heart of the city. It has a 24-hour front desk and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 975 reviews Very good
The Hotel Limmathof occupies a historic building 330 yards from Zurich's main train station and offers easy access to all points in the entire city, as the "Central" public transportation stop is just...
Score from 783 reviews Good
Leonardo Rigihof provides a great location in the Zürich university quarter, a 10-minute walk or a short bus/tram ride from the station and the famous Bahnhofstrasse shopping street.

Very close to the station and to old town. Very helpful front staff. Wifi was fast and stable.
Guest house is in a different location, a block away from the checkin couter, and I didn't notice any instructions regarding this, so I had to go to the guest house, go back to main site for checkin, and then back to the guest house. It's not far, but I was pulling 2 heavy bags (front desk guy was very helpful though). The lift is very small, I could barely fit into that with my luggage. Place is in the middle of a Red Light District - might be a problem for some people.
It was close to the station and Old Town.
The room was small and not very welcoming.
Super clean, great location: near shopping, restaurants and train station. Quite a large room for a decent price. Front desk staff was very helpful.
internet was spotty, and can be a bit loud at night.
Very good location in the old town. Both ladies on reception were very helpful and friendly. Good amenities, our room came with a fridge, hair dryer, good sized shower, and European and English plug sockets. We were a bit worried about the noise as the hotel is right above a bustling street, but we didn't hear a thing all night.
No BBC channels, even though they were advertised on the TV sheet provided.
locaton close railway station.
bed is too small.
Location, helpful staff.
Compact and gloomy bathroom.
All off it
Helpful staff. Extra effort for storing the bicycles in the cellar. Location quite good in the old Zurich town center
Expensive breakfast (we didn't) The 'secondary site' with no staff. Staff was only in the main site.
central location, nice staff, very simple rooms but clean
the hotel is in a party area with some strip clubs and sex shop, but not very annoying, somtimes a bit loud
good location, closed to the heart of the city. clean room. better than i was waiting.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Good location, easy walk to main train station & shopping strip. Nice hot shower. Kettle provided upon request.
Pillows were horrible & flat. Quests should be given clearer instructions when booking regarding the guesthouse location being separate to the hotel where you have to check in/check out. Quite expensive for what you get (which is limited) but I guess all of Zurich is expensive.
nice staff, room was comfy, nice bathroom. close to city center.
problem with wifi.
room + bathroom
Have to check in (and have breakfast as well) in Hotel Alexander then the staff would take you to the guest house. Only 10 mins walk from Zurich main station but took me 30 mins to figure out. Go out from the main station, go straight and cross the bridge on the river, will see a Starbucks at the intersection. Turn right to the small lane, walk down in the old town, then you can find the hotel at your left hand side (Niederdorfstrasse 40). The stone road around is not easy for a tourist carrying 17kg luggage if you get lost like I did. I checked in in the early evening and the reception didn't seem very professional. No receipt for currency change. But the gentlemen helped me carry the luggage to he guest house was nice. Guest house is simple and clean however. Better for people with longer stay but not for biz trip.
Inconvenient to check in at another place,
The place is nice and clean and the location is excellent
Unfortunately, the prostitutes gather in front of the building and it was very noisy at night. Also the bell of a nearby church sound all night long!
The location quite good but maybe hard to find by yourself because it is too small. The room is tiny but clean. Overall is good.
The lift is too small and it very hard to use if u have a big luggage
Was not really choice for this price this moment
many obsessions women prostitutes in front of the hotel. drain the water in the shower worked slowly
Convenience of the hotel to everything I wanted to do- walking distance to train station, quiet rooms but set in the centre of the old town and virtually on the walking tour route
The room was just a bit too hot
I liked the location, as it was close to the rail station and convenient for doing some sightseeing.
The beds are a bit hard for my liking!
The room was clean and had all the basics, but this really is a two star hotel. Wi-fi was decent which is a big plus. It's OK for a short term stay.
The room was outdated; the bathroom was clean but everything old; the materials in the room were cheap. Pricey for what it was, although this is Zurich. Location is central, but in red light district, although this is pretty benign in Zurich. Don't go for the overly expensive breakfast. We found a charming cafe by the water which had a generous breakfast for far less.
Location is very good, close to old town, the main train station and downtown. Staff is friendly.and breakfast is quite good. Service was good and rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Availability of daily newspapers and coffee with croissant very welcome.
The room was very tight and without A/C although the weather was not hot and thus need for A/C not a high priority item. Lack of a reception room where guests could sit, receive friends and read the papers. Price was high for the level of facility of Alexander although we realize that Zurich is a very expensive town.
Location Cleanliness of the bathroom and the bed sheets
Cooking smell from the apartments around the guest house
The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast was excellent, too.
