Ligger centralt.Masser af liv i gaden og mange spisesteder.Altstadt og floden Limmat er lige om hjørnet. Tæt på banegården og sporvognene kører lige forbi. Måske skulle man indrette en større spisesal til morgenbuffeten,der er trængsel i den nuværende alt for lille sal.Og hunde bør forbydes adgang i spisesalen. |

Det opfyldte mine ønsker: gratis internetadgang, centralt - i gåafstand til væsentlige besøgssteder i byen, morgenmad inkluderet. Venligt personale i receptionen - jeg lånte bl.a. en paraply. Det var ikke nemt at åbne vinduerne, men på grund af gadestøj fra restauranterne kunne man heller ikke have dem åbne i længere tid. Til gengæld var der jo air condition. Så alt i alt ville det bare være dejligt om nøglen til at åbne vinduerne med var noget nemmere at dreje. |

Breakfast and internet included, comfortable room with a nice design. Price could be lower, but compared to other Zurich hotels I guess it`s fair. |

Location. Zurich is a lovely city. Most sites are in walking distance. We would recommend a day excursion to see Mt. Titlis. |

The location was superb. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There was only one English TV channel, CNN, but thrilled to have it as other hotels I've stayed in abroad, there are no English speaking TV channels. Lobby internet available for use. |

The hotel was well positioned for the restaurants of the old town, the railway station, the city centre and the lake and river. Would use it again. Slight outside noise at night. |

Free internet, lots of restaurants and night clubs around. Simple, but clean room. Close to the Zurich central rail station. Noise from night clubs and restaurants at night. |

I appreciated the kind and very helpful staff. We needed to have a place for my young son to have a nap before setting off on a long trip. The staff offered us to extend the stay in our room well into the afternoon without any charge. Thank you. |

free internet access. Close to the Zurich HB, 15minutes from the airport (by train), citycenter. Breakfast was OK, friendly service. Unfortunately second day internet totaly failed. |

Upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist told me that I had booked a SINGLE room, not a twin room for two people. I was then informed that I made a mistake in booking, and was then required to pay full-price for a twin room (+ 50 euro extra). Alexander Hotel is an absolute disgrace to Booking.com, an otherwise very useful website. |

good central location in the old part of town, close to bars and eateries. the breakfast was simple but good selection. free wireless internet was great. we arrived early and they were ok with us checking in early despite busy time. women on front desk could have been more friendly, wanted double bed but got twin beds pushed together, area is potentially noisy from street bars and eateries - so make sure to ask for quiet room. |
