Hotel Alexandra

英語が通じないので少し苦労しましたが、そのほかは快適でした。

Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, quiet enough, good location, walking distance to the town center.

The hotel has no lifts. It may be a drawback for some people.

Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room in an attractive, traditional-style building.

Not a criticism but people with mobility problems should note there is no lift and also that the hotel is about a 10 minute (uphill) walk from the town centre.

The breakfasts were fairly good, although the bread wasn't especially fresh. Helpful desk staff-- although see below.

We were the only guests, but were not told we would be left alone during the night. We were locked out of the usual hotel facilities-- bar and lounge, for instance. Health and safety concerns seemed to be raised. Our room was satisfactory but a little drab.

Clean, ambience of an elegant hotel built in an era of high ceilings, wood floors, white decor, etc., extremely pleasant staff that went out of their way to make certain all our needs were met, short walk to Lake Maggiore, located on one of the main streets going into Locarno, excellent breakfast with Cappicino & Lattes available, our second floor room had french doors and a small terrace to sit on that had a partial view of Lake Maggiore and the mountains - looking forward to going back someday.

The price for Locarno was very good. Personal in this hotel was very nice and kind. The room was small, but very clean and ok for 2 days.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. They helped us plan a day triip and also got a bath mat for us for the shower.

There was no elevator, which made it difficult for my elderly mother to go up and down the stairs.

Most important for me is cleanliness and it was really very clean. The room was perfect, small, but included everything you need. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good. On top of all of that we just felt very comfortable there.

The bathroom was very small. Even if that is not such a big deal, there was a problem with the temperature of the water of the shower. It would suddenly turn very hot or very cold. This was really annoying and almost dangerous. As we stayed there for only 3 nights we did say anything to the staff, therefore we cannot really complain.

Leicht zu finden. Blick vom Balkon auf den See. Sehr freundliche Hotelmitarbeiter. Ein schönes Haus. Gepäckabstellmöglichkeit am Abreisetag.

Es war sehr sauber im Hotel Alexandra, freundliche Mitarbeiter und sehr naheligend am See und an der Shopingstrasse.
