well presented room, nice and light, good breakfast, able to check in early, very handy for tram into city (3 francs, 10 mins), good selection of shops, bars and cafes right next to hotel, river and picnic area 3 mins walk bedside lights in awkward position for reaching the bedside table. did not get free travel as expected because not in city centre, slight smell of cigarette smoke (not used to this now coming from UK) |

I have earlier in the nineties stayed for longer periods at your hotel and I love it. Alway polite personel and very central placed hotel for Basel. A real schweizer hotel. The parkin could be a bit better, especial when loading the loggage in rain. |
