Uphill walk from train station, but it was worth it.

The staffs were very friendly, we chatted for quite a while. The chef there is very good! Rita (the waitress) explained the menu with patiently, and she gave good recommendation! Excellent! The bed and pillow are comfortable for us! The view is good too!

The way to the hotel is extremely steep.I should have known that its location is on the high hill ,so i would not came up with super big luggage. But the scenery from the room is worth for :)

Great place, next to village center. Clean, comfortable, staff very helpful. Our room view to the mountains was just fantastic! we enjoy our time in this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we definately love to recommend this family run hotel to any friends. We were lucky to have a free upgrad to room 303 (superior double room) which had an extremely beautiful, breaktaking view to the village and Eiger mountain. The room was also very well-decorated & spacious. Even though we have to walk around 5-8 mins uphill to the hotel, it was worth when we see the beautiful view around there. The staff were all very helpful, cheerful & friendly. (Their dog at the reception was very friendly too, you must visit him after breakfast :D). They have self-help laundry service too. This is the best hotel we lived in our Europe trip.

Breakfast was good. But it would be even better if more choices for breakfast.

The view was awesome from the balcony. The best hotel I've ever been.

The location, though its near the train station, but the road was steep and dark; however, it was safe.

We had the whirlpool for one hour. You can handle all the buttons and then it is lightening. The superiour room was spacious!

We loved! The view from the room 102 is wonderful! The staff was very friendly and the barman was very kind to explain us when to get a nice cheese fondue. Very close to the Station and the saved our luggage too. I recommend it! The rooms have good space too.

The toilet is old and has no bath. The Jacuzzi was not working properly, water was not warm enough.

The staff is really friendly, the room was big and confy and we had the most amazing view of the Eiger north face from our balcony

Very good Switzerland style holiday Hotel, room are very comfortable, suitable for long period of stay. While you sit at the balcony, you feel the fresh Switzerland mountain atmosphere that make you very very enjoyable.

Comfortable, large room with a great view of the mountains from verandah. Room was a little dated in decor. Staff friendly.

Out of season, but room still expensive (as is all of Switzerland). Nowhere to put or hang a bathroom bag in bathroom. Only one towel rack so clothes had to be put on it too. No hooks. A common problem in hotel bathrooms.

Booking details were not recorded accurately by hotel ie breakfast inclusion was not initially recorded by the hotel. Charge by the hotel for the 2 nights was SF 210 against CF 204 as per contract/booking.

it was the best place for our holiday..margaret the receptionist is so kind and very acomodating..she gave us the best view of our room..i had nothing to say except excellent place to be to relax and enjoy the vacation
