Overall, our experience was very pleasant.The view from our room was spectacular. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.The staff was friendly and helpful. Carpet was soiled and in need of cleaning or replacement. |

Location...Location...Location....sitting in the little balcony & feeling as though you can touch the Monch, Eiger & Junghfraujoch is something else. Very few hotels can touch this hotel for location. Also very clean & comfortable. Staff is very good. Urs at the reception is so helpful. Food was also very good. |

The room we stayed faced the mountains across Lauterbrunnen Valley, and the views from the room and terrace were magnificent in the morning and evening light. The buffet breakfast were much better then the ones we stayed in the same rate category. The hotel is right next to the cable car stop connecting Stechelberg in Lauterbrunnen Valley and Schilthorn peak. |

We loved the quiet, peaceful beauty, the relaxed pace, the awesome mountain views, the wonderful hiking trails and just the total ambience of the Swiss alps. It was an awesome place to stay and a memory to treasure always. Would recommend this hotel and area highly. They could use more pillows that don't flatten out. |

Excellent views, good breakfasts, convenient location (right next to cable car station). Owner very courteous and pleasant, staff helpful and friendly. Excellent hot and powerful shower. Our visit was in the summer, and so the village was quiet with an unhurried, relaxed atmosphere - it may be more lively in the winter ski season. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The carpet and settee looked tired and needed attention. However, this did not effect the enjoyment of our stay - although we did miss our cups of tea. |

I loved the mountainous views, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, the staff were extremely helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel for a holiday in Murren. |

Location, view from room was breathtaking, food, service, rooms were very quiet, nice bathrooms, nice cabinet space for clothing/luggage, linens were very clean. Everything you need for a beautiful stay in the alps. |

The scenary was wonderfull. The staff were very helpful. The carpet in our room was never vacumed and really needed replacing. Wood or laminated flooring would be much easier to clean. |

Magnificent views of the mountains from our balcony. The hotel is situated in a very picturesque village and located next to the Schiltorn cable car. Generally good facilities. |

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We forgot to ask for our breakfast voucher for breakfast at the Schilthorn, and the owners called the restaurant to tell them we were coming and had a table reserved for us. Very thoughtful! It was a little on the expensive side considering the size of the rooms. Although I realize this is standard for the area. |

I lliked the excellent access to the mountain for quick access to the great hiking trails. I really appreciated the breakfast spread being included in the price because it is hard to find a place to eat early in the morning. The food was good and filling. Thank you. I think that 5 Frank is too much for use of the computer. My previous hotel offered it for free as part of the hotel package. |
