Hotelli sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla Lausannen keskustassa lähellä rautatieasemaa ja metroa. Hotelli on siisti,hiljainen ja moderni. Huoneemme oli siisti, pelkistetty ja tilava. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Hotelli sijaitsee rinteessä joten huonojalkaisille hotelli on haasteellinen. Hotelliin kirjautuessasi saat kortin jolla voit matkustaa paikallislla busseilla ja metrolla ilmaiseksi.

Great location close to metro, train and in city center. Breakfast is worth only if you take the buffet at 25chf as the continental breakfast at 15chf will get you only hot drinks and breads. Staff is nice and friendly and room very clean. Don't select this hotel for their fitness as most of the equipment wasn't working. Also we found the hotel quite "dangerous": very sleepery bath tube and marble, sleeping lights right above your head, furniture's angle very sharp ... frightened myself a few times.

I may say thank you Lausanne to have Fassbind Hotel...nice location V.close to the 2 main station just 3 mint's walk, big and V.clean room, nice and clean bathroom, chick in /out within less than 2 mints,big tv with variety channels, Our room was in street view only one night was a little noisy out said ,,but next time I will ask for garden view ,,

I enjoyed leaving the hotel after a miserable night. The bathroom walls are made of frosted glass and there is a 1/2 cm gap all the way around the bathroom door. This ensures that the people sharing your room can see and hear exaclty what you are doing. The window did not fit securely in the frame and rattled all night in the slightest breeze. The thermostat on the radiator had been snapped off resulting in the heating being on full all night. When I complained to the managed she was rude and seemed to suggest that it was my fault. Absolutely appalled by her attitude and will not stay there again.

Very good and central location, good price value for expensive Switzerland. I had asked for a queen bed by mail before arriving, when I got there they could only give me a twin. I was very disappointed as I felt they hadn't read my mail at all and said thus was optional.

Nice modern hotel; great design Parking at chf 40 a night is a bit over the top We had a room on the street side; the noise from kids heading home went on until 04h00

Clean quite spacious room and good location.We had a garden view room, nice to look at even in winter. Easy to walk anywhere in town and with the travel pass even easier. Can be hard to find by car though small street looks like pedestrians only. Breakfast is good value too. Would stay there again. Small complaint, The glasses were used & dirty evidently the maid overlooked them and forgot to change them.

The hotel lobby is very nice ! We had read the reviews of other guests . We are not surprised about the unfriendly service ! If you are just looking for a room and bed to sleep . This is just perfect ! The bed is comfortable ! But you will not want to stay in the room to relax as You can find a place to sit comfortablly ! Food is ok there ! Service is un-attentived ! We would stay there again as price is good for the location and room size !

The hotel is 100m up the hill from the Lausanne train station, within easy striking distance of the metro and the old town. Room was comfortable: clean and reasonably spacious, with a small balcony and a nice view out over the street. (Not too noisy, fortunately, because mostly pedestrian.) Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was listed as chf25 for 24 hours, but apparently is only about half that - the hotel had forgotten to update their literature. (Why can't we get free WiFi for this kind of price?) The shower was a little tricky to set up at first, but worked fine once it had been tamed.

“The hotel was in the city centre very close to the station so it made day trips from Lausanne very easy but it was not noisy. They had a lovely garden with tables set out under trees where we could eat or have a drink. Breakfast was included and was lovely. We were also given a free pass for local transport.
