Right behind the hotel you find a skiing school and a skiing kindergarten and within an 8-minute walk you can reach the pedestrianized center of the city. The spa facilities were misleading. Value for money was not good. I wish I had paid a tiny bit more and stayed in a much better hotel.

We were so happy to spend a few days in the hotel Alphorn to celebrate New Year . This hotel is very well located and cosy, stuff is so friendly,nice food in a restarant. We had a beautiful spacious room, loft style with mountain view, easy access to the pistes and centre of village. We would recommend this hotel to anybody, we had just an amazing time there, good value for money.

Yes, I ordered a non smoking, but it smelled smoke and it was so noisy from the bars and restaurant during the night. No flowers in the room, no shower cap, or no welcome water. Restaurant has lots of flies. Receptionist has no make up, etc. I had to cancel 2 night instead 4, but I could not refund. Well, a friend of mine told I should stay there, but.... I do not want to go back, may be if I had no money, I would stay...Thank you.

Good, quiet location for hikers, very close to cablecars and hiking paths to Wispile and Eggli. About 10min walk to village center and railway station. Very good breakfast, very clean all over, friendly staff. Nice view to mountains! Well, 90CHF for a single room in low season makes it a bit too pricey even for Gstaad...

the room was a very pleasant surprise - great layout with room upstairs for the kids... great view from the balcony... clean, comfortable, quiet.. couldn't have asked for more... also very close to the Wispile chair lift and easy walk into town.... great location...

Walking distance to town, great food and service, free parking. Lovely, warm and cozy atmosphere...a fitting hotel to be included in the "Typical Hotels of Switzerland" group! Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony. Unfortunately rather costly, but not out of line with other hotels in the area. Though walking distance to town, not really in the heart of things...especially if raining.

The place. Next to the ski lifts of Eggli. Near Gstaad centre as well.Spacious room for 4 people with a good view to the mountains. No washing amenities (ie. bath, lotions etc) for a 3 star hotel. Very basic in room services. Old fashion TV, bathroom, telephone etc. A refurbish is needed, as the room costs 330euros for 4 persons, but the amenities were very poor.

The smartness and sophistication of Claudia, the hotel's manageress; and the proximity to both the Wispile and Eggli ski areas. It is out on a limb from the town centre (10 minutes walk) but if you want to be so close to both the Wispile and Eggli, you have to accept this.

Un hôtel charmant avec un personnel disponible et très sympathique qui en plus, parlait le français. Petit déjeuner très complet avec des produits de la région notamment dans un très beau choix de pains et de fromages. Dommage que l'accès aux activités "Bien-être" soient payantes et limitées en temps.
