Hotel information

This hotel is well suited for family holidays. There is a big adventure Kindergarten, a X-box play room with art for a children's gallery, a summer park with many games and the winter park with adventure tunnel and tubing piste.

There is also the Kids Club GoSulino at the Hotel Alphubel.
It is open Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 18.30.

Children from 2 years are welcome. Younger babies on request / arrangement with the hotel. Child care and babysitter is available during the evenings and on weekends for an extra charge.

Daily animation programme including night tobogganing, ski runs in the winter and guided hiking tours in the summer.
The hotel has a "Heimat" evening once per week with raclette, Walliser Folklore and an Alpenhorn competition.

Complimentary ski shuttle service to the ski pistes.
You will find a heated ski & snowboard Depot and an Aprés Snowbar at the partner Hotel Waldesruh. They also have a sun terrace and an à la carte restaurant.

The hotel also provides massages (fee required) and usage of the sauna (free of charge).

Food & beverage

Breakfast is served from 07.00 until 10.30.

The bar is open from 17.00 until 01.00.

Cosy double rooms, about 16 square meters, with telephone and Internet connection + WLAN. Payphone, cable radio TV, safety deposit box, minibar (fee required). Rooms are en suite (shower/WC) with hairdryer. Children sleep in bunk beds.

Area information

The 'Pearl of the Alps' offers trips with the Metro-Alpin to the highest rotating restaurant of the world or the sports centre with a swimming pool and tennis, but is also traditional idyllic place.

Enjoy quiet hours in the wonderful nature of the mountains of Saas Fee and also the rich culinary delights of the Wallis. This region offers something for every traveler and every taste – come alone or with family and friends.

Travel information

By car
- Coming from the north drive through Bern and the Lötschberg (Autoverlad)
- From the east over the Furkapass (or Autoverlad)
- From the south over the Simplonpass.
- Coming from the west you reach the Saastal passing Lausanne, along the Rhone valley until Visp.

By train
- Drive over Brig / Visp and change into the post car towards "Saas-Fee".
- There is a connection every hour until 20:05 from Brig or 20:25 from Visp.
- You can leave your luggage at the counter at the train station and collect it at the station of the post car in the Saastal.

By airplane

Parking / guest card
Saas-Free is a no car area. Leave your car at the parking garage or the car park at the entrance of the village. You can bring you luggage by taxi or a trolley to the holiday apartment or the hotel. Please enquire before arrival at the hotel about luggage transport.

You will get the Saas Fee guest card from your landlord which grants a reduction on parking fees after the second day. Before you leave the car park bring your guest card and the parking ticket to the tourist information office to get the reduction.

Please enquire for the card after arrival as you will get several reductions in the village. Please also read the information in the local newspaper "Gletscher-Post".

Total car park spaces in Saas-Fee: 2800

The guest card is also available in the villages Saas-Grund, Saas-Almagell and Saas-Balen. In Saas-Grund, Saas-Almagell and Saas-Balen you can park at the hotel or on public car park spaces (in Saas-Grund and Saas-Almagell fee required).
