Somehow I failed to notice that this place wasn't air-conditioned. It looked thoroughly modern so it never occurred to me. This place is located on a very busy street, over a cafe and while you can open the windows, it was then too noisy to sleep. Fortunately our son and his wife were staying here as well and someone had left a fan in their room which they nicely gave to us. It made all the difference but I felt badly that I missed this detail. The rooms are very nice looking and comfortable, except for this fact.

Clean, nice breakfast, No AC, very hot, very noisy out in the street from drunks to 3 in morning. way too much money for uncomfortable stay, will never come back and tell everyone not too come.

It's a modest little joint but entirely adequate for a simple stay, and the location is excellent. The breakfasts are excellent. It is clean. The staff are the best. The coffee is good too, perhas near the best in town. Pleasant little bar, good place for a drink or coffee while you ead the paper or chat with friends. Their internet system could do with improvements.

Alstadt is a clean and cosy hotel. The staff are very pleasant. This hotel is perfect for a city stay. Coffee facilities in the room would have been hugely appreciated. Waking up and having a cup of coffee in bed is the way to start a day.

En tant que femme voyageant seule, j'ai apprécié son calme, sa situation (dans la vieille ville, à proximité du Kunsthaus et très bien desservi par les trams), sa fréquentation et la belle conception de la chambre (15).

Très bien situé, bistrot très sympathique au rez-de-chaussée. Très calme. Belle décoration. Deux lits accolés (non attachés) ne sont pas aussi confortables qu'un grand lit double. Qui dort dans le trou?
